TV-Series
Description
Sakuno Uryū is the younger stepsister of Shingo Uryū, a result of their parents' remarriage approximately ten years before the main events, forming a blended family where her father married Shingo's mother. Initially a first-year student at Kagamidai Academy, she was selected with her brother for a test class preceding Kagamidai's full merger with the elite Yuihime Girls' Academy. She transferred into Yuihime's 1-T class on October 1. The night before this transfer, September 30, a chance encounter with Airi Sena sparked an immediate and lasting friendship between them.

Standing 162 cm tall, Sakuno is the tallest among the central female characters despite being the youngest. Her blood type is AB, her birthday is January 23, and her physical proportions are 80-54-80.

Her personality is quiet and reserved. She demonstrates proficiency in domestic skills, particularly cooking, but frequently becomes lost due to a notably poor sense of direction. This trait led to her initial disorientation upon arriving at Yuihime and her pivotal meeting with Airi. Sakuno maintains a routine of regular shopping trips to Kume Mart, a local supermarket in the New District also frequented by Airi, further strengthening their bond.

Within the Nuko Club, a school club dedicated to caring for injured animals founded by Miu Amaha, Sakuno interacts with Miu, Sana Inui, Angelina Sewell, and her brother Shingo. Her observant and considerate nature is shown through supportive actions, such as intentionally creating private moments between Shingo and Miu. She also participated in keeping Airi's secret about her independent living situation. Integrated into the central group and present throughout the narrative across official media, Sakuno does not receive a dedicated story arc or significant personal evolution, particularly in the 12-episode anime adaptation where she was sidelined after the initial focus, functioning primarily as a supportive or background presence. Information regarding her portrayal or development in other adaptations, such as visual novel routes, spin-offs, or OVAs, is not detailed within the available sources.
