Description
Suzuko Nekoya is a minor character appearing alongside her twin sister Tamako. Both sisters participate in community-based cheerleading, continuing from junior high into high school while peers quit. They share a prior connection with Hizume Arima from their junior high community cheer team.

Suzuko sports long twin-tails with bangs swept left. Her personality, like Tamako’s, is condescending and callous toward others’ feelings. During an encounter with Hizume, they bluntly recounted how her departure negatively impacted their cheer team—though they noted it later improved team solidarity. They also openly remarked on Kana Ushiku’s fixation on Hizume, showcasing their tendency for insensitive observations.

Historically, Suzuko and Tamako prioritized their own performances and fun over team cohesion, often disregarding synchronization for twin-centric routines. This self-centered approach influenced Hizume’s early attitude toward cheerleading. Later, they revealed their team’s entry into a cheer competition, deliberately heightening Hizume’s anxiety by emphasizing their participation.

After witnessing the Cheer Club’s preliminaries performance, Suzuko and Tamako experienced a slight perspective shift. They began recognizing teamwork’s value beyond their twin partnership, acknowledging unity across the entire squad—marking modest development in their understanding of collaborative spirit.

Their surname "Nekoya" incorporates the Japanese word for cat ("neko"), reflecting cat-like traits of self-centeredness and playful, taunting behavior toward others.
