TV-Series
Description
Ringo Ōhoshi is a nuclear physicist and inventor counted among the seven prodigies. Her extraordinary intellect results from artificial insemination and DNA modification, granting advanced cognitive abilities from a young age. This led her biological mother, also a scientist, to abandon her out of jealousy, fostering Ringo's preference for isolation and minimal human contact.

To evade criminals seeking to exploit her talents, she resides in outer space, relying chiefly on her computer companion, Kumausa, for interaction. Her outlook changed after meeting Tsukasa Mikogami in middle school; he provided her with purpose and taught practical skills like repairing items, leading to her emotional attachment to him. Despite this bond, she finds it difficult to confess her feelings, especially when observing Lyrule's interest in Tsukasa.

Professionally, Ringo revolutionized radioactive waste disposal by developing a method to accelerate decay nearly instantly and constructs functional nuclear reactors independently. In Freyjagard, she rapidly deploys advanced technology: building a nuclear power plant for electricity, crafting lightweight duralumin shields for village defense, designing cannons capable of breaching castle walls, and creating specialized bows with sights and iron arrows. During Marquis Findolf's assault on Elm Village, her cannon fire aids the villagers in infiltrating the castle to rescue Lyrule.

Financially, Ringo sustains herself through three Nobel Prizes and patents for her inventions. Her given name, Ringo, means "apple" (林檎), while her surname, Ōhoshi, translates to "big star".
