Description
Jōji Minami, known as Tekkaman, is an astronaut seeking a new world for his people. He transforms using the "Tekset" armor system, gaining enhanced physical capabilities and wielding a double-bladed lance. The armor multiplies his strength approximately ten thousandfold, enables survival in space, and includes magnetic boots for zero-gravity stability alongside his robotic steed, Pegas, for space mobility.

Tekkaman employs distinct combat techniques: the Space Lariat (or Tek Win) captures foes, the Spur Cutter engages in close combat, the Gatling Lancer delivers rapid strikes, and the Galaxy Windmill clears wide areas. His ultimate attack is the Voltekka, a high-energy beam fired from his forehead emblem. These skills feature consistently, including in the *Infini-T Force* narrative.

His mission stems from defending Earth against the alien Waldaster, who destroyed the "Space Angel" spacecraft commanded by his father. This tragedy fuels his commitment to protect humanity and find a "Second Earth." In *Infini-T Force*, he is summoned to an alternate Shibuya by Emi Kaido's wish. There, he allies with Gatchaman, Casshan, and Hurricane Polymar to confront the interdimensional threat, Z. During this conflict, Tekkaman battles Z's allies, including the corrupted Dr. Nambu wielding the Nexus weapon.

Jōji Minami possesses a strong, unwavering sense of justice. While this conviction can lead to impulsive actions, it drives his dedication to fighting injustice and protecting others. His collaborations with allies like Andro, Mutan, and Hiromi Amachi in his original timeline, and the Infini-T Force team in the crossover, demonstrate his role as a reliable combatant focused on collective victory. His core traits of duty and heroism remain consistent across all appearances.
