Description
Tsurugino Hikari is the younger sister of the original Makendo, Tsurugino Mai. She actively joins her sister and Makenko, a cyborg boy seeking vengeance against Dr. Mud, on monster-hunting missions. Hikari thrives on combat against monsters, contrasting Mai's reluctance, and consistently demonstrates enthusiasm for confronting supernatural threats.
In the OVA, Hikari participates in the quest to defeat demons and monsters threatening both human and monster worlds, directly aiding efforts to restore Makenko's original body. Her role within the trio is defined by this willingness to battle adversaries.
Hikari becomes the protagonist in the sequel fighting game "Makeruna! Makendo 2: Kimero Youkai Souri". Defying her sister Mai's objections, she independently enters a fighting tournament organized by the Ghost Prime Minister, determined to prove her capabilities as the second Mighty Makendo. Throughout the tournament, she faces diverse opponents including apparitions and supernatural entities.
