Description
Osushi-chan is a Disguiser Dragon inhabiting the corpse of a Pomeranian discovered by Balgo Parks on London's streets. Balgo began caring for the dragon two months before the main events, naming it Osushi. Its disguised form appears as a small Pomeranian with white fluffy fur, brown muzzle, ears, and paws. Its true form is a large Dark Dragon featuring black scales, a light underbelly, four thick legs, two enormous wings, and sharp teeth.

Typically quiet and compliant as a dog, Osushi obeys Balgo’s commands, acting as bait to attract Noel Niihashi or using its cuteness to distract others. Exposure to Balgo’s negative emotions during their cohabitation enables it to speak human language in dragon form, though it primarily parrots Balgo’s demand to see Noel’s panties without comprehension. Transformation into partial or full dragon form occurs when agitated by triggers: Balgo imitating it, sneezing, laughing loudly, or facing danger. Partial transformation manifests large black wings, allowing flight and strength to carry Balgo. Full transformation triggers extreme aggression, including attacks on Balgo and Shelby despite prior bonds.

Physical contact like holding and petting reverts Osushi to dog form. After Balgo becomes a Dragon-Possessed One, both relocate to Reverse London under Noel and Ninny Spangcole’s supervision. There, Osushi’s transformations cause occasional property damage, such as a rampage breaching multiple buildings. It displays protective instincts, partially transforming when sensing threats to Balgo, like an approaching Dark Dragon. Osushi frequently accompanies Balgo during activities, including investigations into illegally reared dragons and encounters with enforcement units like the Inks. During one incident, its licking of Balgo’s neck coincided with Balgo unconsciously manifesting an energy sword.

The dragon remains a constant in Balgo’s daily life, from shared window observations to chaotic supernatural encounters. Its bond with Balgo continually influences its behavior and transformations across their experiences in London and Reverse London.
