Description
Ai Mizuno, born March 7, 1992, died tragically at age 16 on August 4, 2008. Struck by lightning while performing her signature gun-shaped hand pose with idol group Iron Frill at Tosu Stadium, her death became a nationally recognized tragedy. Before death, she served as Iron Frill's center and lead performer in the early 2000s, earning the title "The Legendary Heisei Idol" for her influence and rising prominence.

She possesses short dark blue hair often decorated with yellow flower-shaped hair clips, increasing in number during performances, burgundy eyes, and a slender 160 cm, 42 kg frame with B81-W56-H80 proportions. Her human appearance featured an idol-style school uniform: navy-blue jacket, pale yellow top, blue plaid skirt, and light-brown shoes. As Zombie No. 3 in Franchouchou, severe lightning burns necessitate full-body bandages, leaving only her eyes and mouth visible.

Resurrected, she voiced deep skepticism towards Kotaro Tatsumi's plans, citing practical concerns about public reception of zombies and Saga's revitalization through idols. This stemmed partly from awareness her legacy centered on her death rather than artistry. Despite initial resistance, lacking alternatives and witnessing Sakura Minamoto's dedication, she committed to Franchouchou. She became the group's primary dance and performance instructor, leveraging extensive idol industry knowledge to train members in choreography, music theory, and public relations. Her leadership emphasized rigorous practice and professionalism, prioritizing discipline over casual camaraderie.

Her development involved confronting trauma from her death, manifesting as intense fear of lightning and loud noises causing involuntary screams. During a concert at Sagarock, lightning struck again; her zombie physiology allowed her to withstand it, helping overcome the phobia and perform confidently during storms. Later, she took a part-time job at Kojima Food Industry under the alias "Tresumi Mitsuko" to help resolve Franchouchou's financial debts, navigating human interactions while hiding her identity. Her commitment was tested when Shiori, Iron Frill's new center, invited her back. After hesitation, she declined, choosing loyalty to Franchouchou and a desire to redefine her legacy beyond Iron Frill.

A pivotal moment occurred at Ekimae Real Estate Stadium (formerly Tosu Stadium), the site of her death. Franchouchou initially failed to draw an audience, but persistent effort and a charity concert following a Saga natural disaster led to success. This allowed her to reclaim the location as a place of triumph. Emotional resilience deepened during flood-relief efforts where children accepted Franchouchou's exposed zombie forms without fear, leading her to acknowledge Kotaro's project could inspire genuine hope.

Her abilities include advanced singing and dancing skills honed during her human career, along with zombie traits: detachable limbs, phosphorescent vision, and immunity to fatal injuries like electrocution. She drives a moped and demonstrates hula hooping proficiency during performances. Personality-wise, she is pragmatic, vocal, and driven with a strong sense of responsibility. She mentors group members but maintains high standards, often clashing with those perceived as unserious. Relationships within Franchouchou are predominantly supportive, though she addresses most members without formal honorifics and refers to Kotaro dismissively. Outside interests include idol industry research, collecting mascot merchandise, preferring grilled meat over carbohydrates, and favoring the color blue.
