Description
Asumi Suidō is the younger sister of Koki Suidō and a childhood friend of both Shuta Aoi and Ran Akagi. She grew up with the three of them in the artificial 24th Ward located in Tokyo Bay, where their close bond led to them being nicknamed "RGB" after their distinctive hair colors. As a person, Asumi is described as cheerful, kind, and pure-hearted, qualities that made her widely admired within her community. She was an active and energetic individual who often took the initiative, inspiring those around her to take action on local causes. One of her most notable efforts was her campaign against the planned demolition of Takara Elementary School, which she and her friends had attended. Working alongside Ran and others, she helped transform the old school into a community center through art projects and graffiti, spreading awareness of its cultural and sentimental importance to the ward.

The relationships Asumi shared with the three boys were each distinct. Her older brother, Koki, was protective of her and served as a responsible figure in her life. For Ran, she was a close friend and a source of artistic inspiration, encouraging his graffiti work and sharing his passion for helping the marginalized residents living in the ward's shantytown. With Shuta, the bond was particularly deep; after the death of her mother, Shuta promised to become her hero, offering her crucial emotional support. Shuta also harbored unexpressed romantic feelings for her. As the person who originally declared the trio "RGB," Asumi acted as the glue that held the group together, often deploying her friends in roles that suited their individual skills.

Asumi's life came to a tragic end in a fire at Takara Elementary School. During the blaze, she ran back inside to rescue a trapped child named Kozue Shirakaba. She shielded Kozue from falling debris, sustaining critical injuries in the process. Shuta reached her, but he was unable to save her, and she died in his arms. The fire was later determined to have been caused by faulty wiring that had been damaged by rodents, a fact that compounded Shuta's guilt, as he had known about the rodent problem but not the specific damage to the wiring.

Following her death, Asumi's parents, without the knowledge of her brother Koki, secretly used her body for a technological project. Her brain was integrated into a surveillance network designed to predict and prevent crimes in the 24th Ward, known as the KANAE System or Hazard Cast. Unbeknownst to the system's operators, fragments of Asumi's consciousness persisted within the network. Over time, these fragments regained awareness, leaving her disoriented and tormented by the system's constant visions of impending disasters.

One year after her physical death, Asumi's residual consciousness made contact with Shuta, Ran, and Koki through simultaneous phone calls. She presented them with visions of future crises, which granted them enhanced collaborative abilities to intervene and save lives, such as preventing a train collision involving their mutual friend Mari Sakuragi. Through these communications, she compelled the three friends to confront the moral dilemmas and systemic corruption within the ward, all driven by her enduring desire to protect her community. At the climax of the story, the trio discovers her consciousness at the core of the KANAE System. There, Asumi expresses her profound suffering and her wish to be released. After her friends assure her that they will find other ways to protect the ward, she initiates the system's self-termination, which erases her remaining consciousness. This act allows her to finally achieve closure, with each friend bidding her a personal farewell.
