Rimel commands Trade Federation ground forces on the planet Barka, an alien with a bulldog-like appearance. He directs military operations against Barka insurgents resisting the Federation's financial control. Initially overwhelmed and doubting the Yakitori human soldiers' combat abilities, Rimel revises his opinion after Unit K321 destroys a spider tank. He then assigns K321 the critical mission to infiltrate and disrupt Barkan artillery positions. When K321 requests orbital bombardment to eliminate the artillery, Rimel authorizes the strike, knowingly violating combat protocols despite the widespread destruction it would cause. He explicitly warns the unit they will bear responsibility for the resulting casualties. Following the bombardment, Rimel coordinates the K-9 ground forces unit to rescue K321 and facilitate their retreat from Barka.
