Patrick Seitz is an American voice actor, ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement) director, and script writer known for his extensive work in English dubs of Japanese anime and video games. Born David Patrick Seitz on March 17, 1978, in Riverside, California, he developed an early interest in performance, beginning acting in plays at the age of fourteen. He pursued higher education at the University of California, Riverside, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and later a Master of Fine Arts in Creative and Performing Arts Writing. Prior to fully committing to a voice-over career, he worked as an English teacher at his high school alma mater.
Seitz entered the voice-over industry in 2000, with one of his earliest roles being in the OVA Amazing Nurse Nanako. Since then, he has become a prolific figure in the industry, contributing to hundreds of projects not only as a performer but also behind the scenes. His skills as a writer are frequently utilized, as he has adapted scripts for numerous anime series, including Hell Girl, Zegapain, and Romeo x Juliet.
