Utilizing a stolen dragon horn to summon the beast, the duo sowed chaos, pillaging settlements razed by the attacks. Seven years before the central narrative, their scheme obliterated the hometown of Flare, a young woman whose parents perished alongside countless villagers. As flames consumed the community, D.R. plundered the smoldering ruins while Cyrano silenced witnesses, murdering Flare’s father to bury their crimes.

The partners perpetuated their terror by shifting blame onto others. When confronted by samurai Ryuma, D.R. staged a theatrical injury, feigning a stab wound to frame Ryuma for a dragon’s rampage. Villagers, deceived by the ruse, allowed the conspirators to openly strip their homes of valuables, all while enduring their mockery. Their downfall came when Flare and Ryuma uncovered their clandestine confession. After Ryuma slew Cyrano, D.R. desperately bargained for mercy, asserting only he could halt the dragon with the horn. Ryuma dismissed his plea, delivering lethal justice.

D.R.’s treachery ravaged multiple communities, claiming 48 lives—knights, villagers, and Flare’s parents among them. His alliance with Cyrano thrived on manipulation, theft, and the terror wrought by their draconic puppet. Though he evaded retribution for years, his reign ended abruptly beneath Ryuma’s blade.
