TV-Series
Description
Silk Amberwood is a dark elf and a founding member of the adventurer party Clover. She initially served as its de facto leader until Yuke Feldio joined. Silk previously trained under Yuke at an adventurer school alongside Marina and Rain, forming Clover after graduation. As a dark elf, she belongs to a race historically subjected to discrimination, labeled as "savages" or "servants of evil gods," though such prejudice has largely diminished. She remains sensitive to racial slurs and reacts strongly to derogatory remarks about her heritage, such as those made by members of Thunder Pike.
Characterized by her serious, honest, and responsible nature, Silk spearheads the party's finances, diligently saving money to purchase a group house for Clover, a goal achieved as the party succeeds. She maintains a cautious and modest demeanor, often seeking Yuke's approval for party decisions and acting as a mothering figure by encouraging him to rest when overworked. Generally calm, she can become intensely angry when confronted with injustice, particularly regarding her race. She holds a deep-seated hatred for Orcus, an enemy who harmed dark elves, nearly losing control upon encountering him.
In combat, Silk serves as a ranger and spirit user, wielding a longbow and rapier as primary weapons, with throwing knives as backups. She typically positions herself in the middle row. Her abilities include exceptional marksmanship enabling precise headshots and immense agility for evasion. As a spirit user, she commands plant spirits like Dryad, manifesting as a large vine, and Biblion, a white snake spirit encountered in a library dungeon. She utilizes a "Magic Bag" similar to Yuke's to carry ample arrows and supplies.
Silk harbors romantic feelings for Yuke and entertains the idea of a polygamous relationship where all female members of Clover—including later additions Nene and Jamie—become his wives. She respects his role as a mentor, continuing to address him as "Sensei" even after their dynamic shifts. Her relationships with fellow founding members Marina and Rain are cooperative, reflecting their long-standing bond. She supports Jamie's integration into Clover after Thunder Pike's dissolution.
Throughout Clover's missions, Silk faces significant challenges. She is captured by Thunder Pike in the Endless Darkness dungeon, where Barry attempts to rape her to coerce Yuke's submission; Jamie intervenes, facilitating their escape. Later, Silk participates in confronting the noble Besio Salas, who stalked Rain, leading to his arrest. She also joins the rescue mission for Jamie after Thunder Pike's downfall, encountering the undead Simon.
Her appearance features dark skin, silver hair, orange eyes, and pointed ears. She initially wears a dark top, purple scarf, white shorts, and knee-high boots, later adopting a purple beret and a sleeveless white outfit from the Earthy's weapon shop.
