Marisa Duran is a voice actor based in Dallas, Texas, known for their work in English dubs of anime productions. They began their performance career at the age of eight, participating in professional theatre companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. This foundation in theatre led them to pursue on-screen roles, including a starring part in the independent short film Crude Massacre, for which they received a Best Actress award and multiple nominations at various film festivals. Duran holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Texas Christian University, which they earned in 2016.

Duran entered the field of voice acting in 2015, working with FUNimation Entertainment, now part of Crunchyroll. They worked on various projects for several years before landing their first lead role in 2021 as the voice of Kyoko Hori in the English adaptation of the popular romantic comedy anime Horimiya. This role is frequently cited as a significant early career milestone. Since then, Duran has provided voices for a substantial number of anime series, with estimates of their role count ranging from over 50 to more than 100 titles.

They have also contributed to long-running franchises, voicing characters such as Carly in Attack on Titan: Lost Girls, Jun Sasada in Natsume's Book of Friends, and Mitsuki Konishi in The World Ends with You the Animation. Additional credits include the 11th Seat of the Black Scripture in Overlord IV, Lady Isabel Neville in Requiem of the Rose King, Megria in Banished From The Heroes' Party, and Micro Uzi in Girls' Frontline.

Beyond anime, Duran has expanded into video game voice acting. Their recent video game credits include Hanekawa in Solo Leveling: Arise, Hel in Diesel Legacy: The Brazen Age, and Florence in Mobile Legends: Adventure.

In 2024, Duran received a nomination for Best Voice Actor (English) at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards for their performance as Sagiri in Hell's Paradise. This nomination represents a significant recognition of their work in the anime industry.
