Description
Kunai Zenow is a flesh golem, an artificially created being stitched together from multiple human corpses. Her patchwork form displays visible seams and varying skin tones, reflecting her composite nature. She possesses a frame combining athletic and curvaceous proportions, with certain areas like her right arm showing more pronounced musculature. A rolled-up scroll affixed to the back of her neck serves as the source of her consciousness, personality, and sentience. Her eyes are bronze-colored, and she typically wears her long black hair in a ponytail.

A physician in a distant eastern region assembled her without proper consideration for nerve or vascular connections, focusing only on skin and muscle attachment. This flawed creation causes Kunai significant physiological challenges. The semi-sentient nature of her constituent body parts results in internal distress; remnants of consciousness from the original corpses manifest as haunting voices in her thoughts. These voices can overwhelm her, especially during physical or emotional vulnerability, sometimes causing loss of control over individual limbs as the residual wills temporarily dominate her actions.

Her personality exhibits extreme directness, unwavering loyalty, and a protective instinct, particularly toward Skadi Dragenfelt, whom she serves as both personal bodyguard and assistant. Kunai communicates Skadi's whispered words loudly and clearly as part of her duties. Despite formidable combat abilities and pride in her role as a warrior, she possesses an underlying innocence described as that of a "pure maiden." Initially distrustful of medical practitioners due to her traumatic creation, this aversion lessened after positive treatment experiences.

Kunai's combat capabilities are exceptional; she previously held the top rank in Lindworm's arena before protecting Skadi and demonstrates proficiency against multiple skilled adversaries simultaneously. As a flesh golem, she lacks pain perception, enabling her to sustain injuries like blocking arrows with her body or continuing to function after limb detachment without impairment. However, she retains the capacity to experience pleasurable sensations and other tactile feelings, evidenced during medical procedures involving limb reattachment or cleaning.

A significant development occurred in her relationship with Glenn Litbeit, a human physician. After he repaired her injuries and meticulously replaced damaged stitches, Kunai noticed a reduction in the intrusive voices during his treatments. This improvement led her to seek his medical expertise exclusively for subsequent repairs. Over time, she developed romantic feelings for him, marking an emotional evolution beyond her initial professional reliance.

Her primary weakness stems from her construct nature; blunt force trauma or sharp weapons can easily dislodge limbs or body sections. The ongoing struggle for control against the residual consciousnesses within her remains a persistent psychological vulnerability.
