Jim is a blond-haired, blue-eyed child from Edger Village, recognizable by his oversized blue pants worn high on his chest and no shirt. When the flying dreadnought Granedger bursts forth from beneath the village, destroying it, Jim joins his fellow villagers in fleeing to the ship for refuge. He continues his journey beyond the wall alongside the protagonist Back Arrow and the other displaced villagers. Jim is consistently noted as one of Edger Village's original residents and later counted among Back Arrow's allies and friends within the collective Granedger United.
