Description
Corona is a central character in the series, serving as a member of the elite group of warriors who protect the kingdom of Arachna. As a Spider Rider, she fights alongside a giant, sentient battle spider named Venus, with whom she shares a powerful and supportive partnership. Venus acts as an older sister figure to her. Orphaned at a young age, Corona was discovered and adopted by a pair of twins named Senna and Menna. At the time of her adoption, she was wearing a distinctive Manacle, which later proved to be the artifact that houses Venus and signifies her status as a Rider.

Physically, Corona is depicted as a friendly and optimistic girl with blue eyes and blonde hair typically styled in a ponytail secured with a black ribbon. Though she is sometimes taller and appears more mature, she is the same age as her fellow Rider Hunter Steele. Her personality is defined by a strong determination to protect her home, but she also harbors a deep wish for a peaceful, normal life without the constant burden of war. This internal conflict is explored when she confronts her weariness of endless battles and her desire to live as an ordinary girl. Despite her usual upbeat nature, she can become deeply frustrated and uncomfortable in large crowds, and she has difficulty sharing her personal secrets with others. Her domestic skills, particularly cooking, are notably poor and often result in disaster.

Corona's primary role in the story begins when she discovers Hunter Steele and his spider Shadow in the Inner World. She takes it upon herself to escort them to the kingdom of Arachna so they can be officially inducted into the ranks of the Spider Riders. This act marks the beginning of her most significant relationship, with Hunter. Over the course of their adventures, her feelings for him develop into a deep, romantic attachment that she often struggles to express. She becomes intensely worried when he is hurt or in danger, once taking out her frustration by practicing archery on a target bearing his face when he failed to spend time with her. This concern manifests as jealousy on several occasions, particularly when she suspects his attention has wandered to other girls. Her feelings are made clear by her final words in the series, where she affectionately refers to him as "My Hunter."

Her other pivotal relationship is with Aqune, who is initially an antagonist aligned with the Invectids. It is eventually revealed that Corona is Aqune's long-lost sister and that they are both the Spirit Oracle's Handmaidens. Their separation and Corona's resulting amnesia about their past were caused by a childhood attack on their transport. The bond between the two sisters evolves from one of initial distrust and conflict to a resilient and powerful connection, culminating in them working together to help Hunter control the Oracle's power.

As a warrior, Corona wields a bow and a versatile quiver of specialized arrows. Her arsenal includes yellow regular missiles, red nitro missiles for greater impact, green smart missiles for tracking targets, and more powerful projectiles like pink neutron missiles and indigo torpedoes. However, her most notable ability transcends standard combat skills. Corona has a profound, innate connection to the Spirit Oracle. In moments of extreme danger, especially when Hunter is gravely threatened, she can channel the Oracle’s power, causing herself to glow. This power allows her to influence the Oracle Keys, summoning them in critical moments and helping to stabilize the kingdom's defenses. Her synchronization with the Oracle is so strong that she can experience physical pain if the Oracle is harmed. As the series progresses, she rediscovers her lost memories, fully embracing her identity as the Oracle's Handmaiden and her role in the fight to protect Arachna.
