Akane Suzumiya is the younger sister of Haruka Suzumiya, with whom she shares an exceptionally close bond. A skilled swimmer, she initially idolizes Mitsuki Hayase for her athletic accomplishments and forms close surrogate sibling ties with both Mitsuki and Takayuki Narumi. She later transfers to the Skuld squadron, executing high-risk maneuvers to rescue allies.
