Description
Quitterie Raffaelli is a 17-year-old student from Caird High School and a member of Group B-5. She stands 1.57 meters tall, weighs 43 kilograms, and possesses tan skin, blonde hair often tied in pigtails with pink clips, and striking violet eyes. She is further distinguished by a purple hairband adorned with a yellow star.

Her initial demeanor is cold, arrogant, and authoritative, a defensive posture stemming from a childhood of being shunned by her mother, the famous doctor Olive Raffaelli. This upbringing made trust difficult, and she often acted superior to her peers. Olive provided her with extensive medical training, leading Quitterie to serve as the group's doctor during their space voyage, where her broad knowledge in first aid proved vital.

Quitterie's relationship with her adopted sister, Funicia Raffaelli, was initially strained. Her cold and dismissive behavior drove a wedge between them until a pivotal moment on the planet Vilavurs. When Funicia was endangered after climbing a tree-polene, Quitterie was confronted with the pain her alienation had caused. She offered an emotional apology, leading to a heartfelt reconciliation. As a token of their renewed bond, Quitterie gave Funicia one of her old headbands, and the sisters grew very close throughout the journey.

Another key relationship is with her childhood friend, Zack Walker. For years, Quitterie tried to elicit a romantic response from him, a pursuit complicated by his passive nature. She clearly stated her feelings on the planet Icriss, confessing she did not want to be a doctor but instead his wife. Zack revealed he had always been in love with her since they agreed to marry each other as children. This led to their engagement during the journey, and they later married.

Her time with the crew facilitated significant personal growth. She evolved from repelling friendship attempts, such as those from Aries Spring, to eventually becoming more open and forming close friendships.

A major revelation about her origins came from Charce Lacroix during the journey home. Quitterie and Funicia are not natural children but clones of their mother, Olive. Olive, who owned the hospital where they were created, intended to use Quitterie as a vessel for a consciousness transfer or as a source of organs, which explains her lack of maternal love and distance.

Quitterie was born on June 1. Her name is a French form of Quiteria, a Latinized version of the Greek name Kythereia, meaning "woman from Kythera." The surname Raffaelli is a variation of "Rafaeli," meaning "son of Rafael," a name of Hebrew origin meaning "God has healed."
