1Planet Camp
Nine students from Caird High School arrive at Planet McPa for a five-day survival camp. Shortly after landing,a luminous sphere appears and absorbs each student one by one. Kanata Hoshijima wakes adrift in space with limited suit resources and spots a nearby planet. He locates the other eight students near an abandoned spaceship. The group boards the vessel except for Aries Spring, who tumbles out of control far from the ship with a broken communicator. Kanata uses a winch from the airlock and jets out to reach her despite the risk of exhausting his fuel. After securing Aries, his maneuvering jets run dry, leaving both stranded. The remaining students form a human chain to pull the pair back to the airlock. Once aboard, Zack Walker calculates their position and reveals the sphere transported them 5,012 light-years from home. Panic sets in as they realize their resources cannot sustain a direct return. Zack then identifies a series of planets along a route that could allow them to resupply and slowly make their way back. The students name the ship Astra after spotting the Latin phrase on a plaque. The episode closes with the group committing to the long journey while suspicion grows over whether someone sabotaged their equipment.
2Wilderness
The group lands on the first habitable planet and immediately splits into teams to survey the surroundings. Kanata and Aries find a massive tree whose trunk stores fresh water, solving their immediate supply shortage. Ulgar and Zack discover a cave system but retreat when a large carnivorous creature emerges. The creature pursues the main group across the terrain, forcing Kanata to use a flare to divert its attention while the others escape. Luca’s quick thinking with a rope creates a path to high ground, giving the team a moment to regroup. After the predator withdraws, the group extracts water from the tree and gathers edible plants for food. Quitterie voices suspicion about the ease of finding resources, but no concrete evidence of tampering surfaces. The team returns to the Astra, and Funicia’s emotional outburst reveals her lingering trauma from the initial disappearance. They calculate the next route, acknowledging that their supplies now allow only a limited number of additional stops. The crew lifts off, leaving the planet behind with the next target set as a cold, distant world whose conditions remain unknown.
3Planet of the Sands
The crew lands the Astra on the desert planet Shummoor to replenish their water supplies. They split into two teams to search for a water source. A giant sand worm attacks Aries,Funicia, and Luca, forcing them to fire a flare as a decoy while they flee. Meanwhile, the other team discovers a cave leading to a large underground lake, securing their water supply. In the same cave, they find a derelict spaceship half-buried in the sand. They identify the ship as the one that carried the original passengers meant for the planetary camp. Inside, they find a skeleton and a captain’s log confirming the ship’s oxygen system was deliberately sabotaged. The team realizes that the rupture of the Astra’s oxygen tank was also intentional. The evidence leaves the nine students with one conclusion: one among them sabotaged both ships, stranding them and the original crew. Tensions rise as they consider the possibility that the saboteur is traveling with them. They agree to continue their journey together but pledge to watch each other closely, knowing the culprit remains unidentified.
4Episode 4
The crew of the Astra discovers the ruins of an abandoned ship, the Arista, floating in space. Aries, Luca, and Ulgar board the vessel to search for supplies and information. Inside, they find logs revealing the Arista’s crew died from a mysterious illness that caused rapid physical decay. The logs also confirm the Arista was part of the same planetary camping trip program as the Astra’s crew. Ulgar recognizes the ship’s doctor as his own mother, whom he believed abandoned him. The discovery forces Ulgar to confront his resentment, realizing she did not leave voluntarily but died on the mission. Back on the Astra, the group deduces the illness was a biological weapon, pointing to sabotage. They conclude someone deliberately infected the Arista and then set the same trap for them. The evidence shifts their focus from survival to uncovering a conspiracy. The crew members grow more cohesive as they share the weight of this new understanding. Charce takes the lead in analyzing the sabotage angle, while Kanata pushes for continued focus on immediate repairs. The episode ends with the Astra setting course for the next planet, the crew now aware they are targets in a larger, deliberate scheme.
5Paradise
The crew lands on Planet Icriss and finds a verdant landscape with flowing rivers and abundant fruit, which they initially take as a paradise. While gathering supplies, Aries spots a massive, colorful flower emitting a sweet scent. When she approaches, the flower opens to reveal a human-mimicking appendage and attempts to drag her into its digestive pit. Luca fires his beam rifle, severing the appendage and allowing the group to flee, realizing the planet’s ecosystem consists of predatory plants that use deceptive lures. Exploring further, the team discovers the wreckage of the Ark VI, a ship from their same space camp that went missing years prior. Inside, they retrieve a log recording that one crew member murdered the others under the guise of a disease outbreak, though the log does not name the killer. This discovery creates immediate distrust among the Astra’s crew, as they now know a murderer could be among them. Charce and Zack analyze the Ark’s data and find a functional shuttle, offering a faster route home if they can retrieve it from the predator-ridden zone. The group splits to retrieve the shuttle. While navigating the terrain, Ulgar inspects the Astra’s external communications array and finds deliberate damage. He reports that someone on board sabotaged their long-range communications before they left the ship. The episode ends with the crew realizing the saboteur must be one of them, leaving unresolved tension and suspicion.
6Episode 6
The episode begins with the Astra’s crew discovering a derelict spaceship adrift in space. Charce,Aries, and Luca board the vessel to search for supplies and information. Inside, they find logs revealing the ship belonged to a research team investigating a mysterious pathogen. The logs indicate the pathogen caused rapid mental deterioration, leading the crew to turn on one another. Charce deduces the pathogen was a failed biological weapon. Luca uncovers evidence that the ship’s captain deliberately infected the crew as part of an experiment. The discovery shakes the group, forcing them to confront the dark potential of human technology. Meanwhile, aboard the Astra, Quitterie and Zack work to repair the ship’s communication array. Zack’s meticulous approach contrasts with Quitterie’s impatience, creating tension. Their argument escalates until Zack reveals he is driven by guilt over a past failure that endangered his previous crew. Quitterie acknowledges her own impulsiveness and they reach a tentative understanding. The repaired array picks up a distress signal from a nearby planet. The crew reunites and votes on whether to investigate the signal. Ulgar opposes the detour, citing dwindling supplies and the need to reach their original destination. Aries advocates for helping, arguing they cannot ignore a possible survivor. The group votes narrowly in favor of the rescue. As they descend toward the planet, the episode ends with the Astra entering a turbulent atmospheric entry, the crew bracing for an uncertain landing.
7PAST
The crew lands on the uninhabited planet V-2-7 and discovers a derelict research facility. Inside, they find a functioning cloning laboratory containing multiple incubation pods. Aries notices a pod with a preserved clone physically identical to herself, and the group uncovers data logs detailing the facility’s purpose: producing clones for interstellar colonization. The logs reveal that Aries is a clone created from the original Aries, who died in an accident years prior. A second surviving clone, whom Aries calls “Mother,” explains that she raised Aries in isolation after escaping the facility’s collapse. The crew learns that the destruction of their original ship, the Astra, was no accident—someone sabotaged it to strand them. Tension rises as the group realizes the saboteur must be among them, though no one confesses. They salvage materials from the facility to repair the Astra’s remaining damage and depart the planet. As they resume course for Earth, the ship’s communications system emits an unexpected signal, suggesting their movements are being monitored by an unknown third party.
8Episode 8
The Astra crew discovers a derelict spacecraft drifting in space and boards it to search for supplies. They identify the vessel as a prison transport ship that went silent years ago. Inside, they recover a ship log that details a prisoner mutiny but cuts off before revealing the outcome. Quitterie becomes visibly agitated, prompting Zack to confront her privately. She admits she recognizes the ship as the one her father, a prison guard, served on before he disappeared during the mutiny. She joined the Astra mission hoping to learn his fate. The crew decides to explore the prison block for more records. They find that the prisoners died from oxygen deprivation after damaging the life-support systems during the uprising. In the warden’s office, they locate a final log entry showing that the guards, including Quitterie’s father, evacuated in an escape pod before the oxygen ran out. Quitterie breaks down upon realizing her father abandoned his post and his fellow guards to save himself. Aries comforts her. The group retrieves the escape pod’s beacon data to track its trajectory. Charce notices that the prison ship’s communications logs contain encrypted messages matching a military cipher, hinting at a larger conspiracy. The crew returns to the Astra with the beacon data and sets a new course for the planet where the escape pod likely landed. Ulgar privately tells Zack he now suspects the original accident that stranded them was deliberate, pointing to inconsistencies in the ship’s damage. The crew heads toward the escape pod’s coordinates, facing the intertwined mysteries of Quitterie’s father and the possibility of sabotage.
9Revelation
Zack presents his medical analysis to the crew, proving that Quitterie and Funicia share identical biological markers and are the same person. Kanata confirms this and reveals the larger truth: every member of the crew except Aries is a clone of one of the adults who raised them. The parents created the clones with the goal of using their younger bodies to rejuvenate themselves. To avoid prosecution for violating genome control laws, the parents arranged the Planet Camp trip as a cover to send the clones into space and eliminate them. The crew grapples with the revelation as Quitterie breaks down under the weight of being manufactured for disposal. Kanata delivers a direct speech that steadies the group and reinforces their identity as individuals shaped by their own experiences. He then speaks with each crew member privately, helping them process the truth in their own way. Zack and Quitterie announce their intention to marry, bringing a moment of joy to the tense atmosphere. Polina enters the bridge as the crew celebrates and views a long-range image of their destination planet. She becomes visibly confused, pointing out that the continents do not match any known geography of Earth. Her question to the crew about which planet they call home reveals that they have never named Earth as their origin, leaving the true nature of their destination an open and unsettling question.
10Episode 10
The crew of the Astra boards a derelict alien ship to search for oxygen supplies, their own reserves critically low. Inside, they discover the vessel belongs to an ancient interstellar civilization and contains warp technology. Quitterie identifies a navigational system that could chart a course home, but the ship lacks fuel. The group splits to survey the interior: Aries maps the layout, while Charce and Luca find a chamber with a dead alien pilot, confirming the ship was crewed. Zack and Ulgar reach the engine room and confirm the power source is depleted. Yunhua calculates their remaining oxygen will run out before they can return to their own vessel. With no other option, the crew decides to use the alien ship’s emergency power to launch it on a trajectory toward a nearby habitable planet. They initiate the sequence, but the sudden acceleration pins them inside. The alien hull breaks apart during the jump, forcing everyone to evacuate in their escape pods. They reunite in the debris field and watch the alien ship disintegrate. Now stranded again with minimal supplies, they set course for the planet below with no assurance it holds the resources they need to survive.
11PAIR
The group splits into three pairs to search for the crashed escape pod on the planet Icriss. Zack and Aries locate the pod first and retrieve its data recorder, which contains evidence of the conspiracy behind the Astra’s journey. Quitterie and Yunhua find the pod’s medical kit and secure it for future use. Luca and Funicia encounter a collapsed cave entrance but avoid danger by retreating. Ulgar and Charce reach the pod’s location last, and Charce reveals to Ulgar that he is the crown prince of the hostile kingdom that sent the assassin. The assassin appears and shoots Charce in the chest as Charce shields Ulgar. Ulgar wounds the assassin with a thrown knife, but the assassin escapes. The others regroup at the landing site with the recorder and medical supplies. Kanata stabilizes Charce’s condition using the medical kit, but Charce remains unconscious with severe injuries. The group decides they cannot stay on the planet and must launch immediately despite the risk. With the data recorder in hand and the assassin still at large, the crew faces a desperate race to leave Icriss before another attack.
