Description
Pharol is a sphinx-like Aurelus Bakugan hailing from the planet Vestroia. He serves as the primary Guardian Bakugan for the brawler Ajit, establishing the very first human-Aurelus partnership. Pharol maintains an unshakeable calm and patient demeanor, carrying himself with a distinct air of royalty and nobility in every situation. His loyalty to Ajit is fierce, matched by his significant combat prowess.

He debuted during a tournament honoring the Awesome Brawlers, interrupting a match between Dan Kouzo and China Riot. Pharol effortlessly defeated Riot's Bakugan, paving the way for Ajit to formally challenge Dan. This encounter marked Ajit's entry into structured Bakugan battles, with the Awesome Brawlers guiding him on battle mechanics. In their subsequent battle against Dan, Pharol's Aurelus attributes granted him considerable power, though Ajit withdrew the match early after thanking Dan for the training.

A pivotal moment occurred when Pharol battling alongside Ajit inadvertently triggered the emergence of "Baku-Gear"—a new power-up system stemming from altered Core Cell properties after Earth's coverage by the Golden Drome. Pharol's signature Baku-Gear includes the Silent Spears, enhancing his combat abilities. His documented techniques encompass Stealth Form (invisibility until damage is taken), Aurelus Sandstorm, Golden Wall, and Swarming Surge.

Pharol later achieved fusion with the Pyrus Bakugan Gillator, forming Pharol x Gillator. This fusion initially required both Bakugan but later became accessible solely through Pharol utilizing the Nova Light's power. The Pharol x Gillator fusion variant appeared in subsequent media, including *Bakugan: Legends*. Physical game data confirms Pharol x Gillator operates at 1000 Bs power and utilizes the Aurelian Accelerator Baku-Gear.

During *Bakugan: Geogan Rising*, Pharol entered a dormant state, resting at the Shrine of Restoration alongside other Bakugan. Ajit temporarily partnered with Pincitaur during this period. Pharol later returned to active brawling in *Bakugan: Evolutions*, resuming his role as Ajit's primary Guardian Bakugan and acquiring the Nanogan Lancer.

In the physical Bakugan trading game, Pharol's base Aurelus form has a B-Power of 700 Bs. His faction variations are Pyrus (500B), Ventus (500B), Darkus (600B), Haos (400B), and Diamond (1500B). His evolutions include Neo Pharol, Genesis Pharol, and Nova Pharol, each with corresponding increases in B-Power and damage ratings. Character cards and gameplay assets feature Pharol across multiple sets, including Fusion Force and Shields of Vestroia.

Trivia identifies Pharol as the second sphinx-based Bakugan after Manion. His name potentially combines "Pharaoh" and "feral," reflecting his regal yet formidable nature. He is also noted as one of the few reboot Bakugan to feature colors outside his faction's standard scheme.
