Description
Raphael emerges as an evolved state of Rimuru Tempest's Unique Skill "Great Sage," originally integrated when Satoru Mikami transitioned from human to slime. This initial skill offered analytical power and tactical advice devoid of distinct personality, serving purely as support. After the destruction of Rimuru's city and his ascension to Demon Lord, Great Sage repeatedly attempted evolution during the Harvest Festival ritual. Following numerous failures, it sacrificed the Unique Skill "Degenerate" to acquire "Wise One," which subsequently transformed into the Ultimate Skill "Raphael," also known as "Lord of Wisdom."
Specializing in managing the world's laws, Raphael focuses on support functions and skill alteration. Its sub-skills encompass Thought Acceleration, Analytical Appraisal, Parallel Calculation, Chant Annulment, All of Creation, Synthesize/Separate (inherited from Degenerate), and Alteration. Raphael also possesses the related art "Skill Gift," enabling the transfer or modification of abilities. Unlike its predecessor, Raphael exhibits distinct consciousness and proactive agency. It can assume direct control of Rimuru's body when necessary, demonstrated by performing a resurrection spell to revive fallen allies, an action requiring direct interface with the Voice of the World.
