Movie
Description
Bell Cranel is a young, white-haired adventurer with red eyes, frequently likened to a rabbit. Raised by his grandfather, later revealed as the god Zeus, in a mountain village, he was inspired by heroic tales. After his grandfather's apparent death, Bell journeyed to Orario. Rejected by other groups, he became the sole founding member of Hestia Familia.
Humble, compassionate, and fiercely determined, Bell strives for greater strength following his rescue by Ais Wallenstein, whom he idealizes romantically. This intense admiration fuels his rapid growth via the unique skill Liaris Freese, accelerating his development based on emotional intensity. Despite attracting romantic interest from others, his low self-esteem causes him to remain largely unaware or dismissive, focusing solely on Ais. His innate kindness drives him to unconditionally protect others, even at great personal risk, such as defending the sentient monsters known as the Xenos despite societal opposition.
During the Holy Moon Festival in *Arrow of the Orion*, a magical spear selects Bell due to his pure soul, designating him "Orion" under goddess Artemis. He accepts her quest to defeat the monster Antares beyond Orario, joined by Hestia, Welf Crozzo, Liliruca Arde, and Hermes. Utilizing the spear's power, he rescues villagers from scorpion monsters. He later participates in an assault on the Elsus Ruin. His interactions with Artemis include a lakeside dance and discussions on love and heroism, reinforcing his idealism. The quest culminates in a pivotal battle revealing the spear's true purpose, testing Bell's resolve.
Bell's combat prowess is marked by exceptional physical abilities, regularly surpassing level expectations with SS/SSS-ranked stats. He brandishes the Hestia Knife, a weapon that grows alongside him, and commands fire magic, Firebolt. His skill Argonaut allows powerful charged attacks during critical moments, born from his heroic aspirations. His agility is particularly notable, enabling vertical leaps and rapid movement. In the film, Artemis's spear temporarily augments his capabilities, though its use risks attracting Antares. After his journey and battles, Bell returns to Orario with broadened experiences, steadfastly continuing his pursuit of strength.
