Urouge competes in Buena Festa's Pirate Festival on Delta Island, joining fellow Worst Generation members and diverse pirate crews in the hunt for Gol D. Roger's treasure. He confronts antagonist Douglas Bullet, a former Roger Pirates member. When Bullet attacks the pirates after securing an Eternal Pose to Laugh Tale, Urouge unites with the Supernovas against him. Activating his Devil Fruit power, Urouge converts sustained damage into immense physical strength, drastically expanding his muscle mass to unleash powerful strikes. Bullet effortlessly overwhelms their assault, swiftly defeating Urouge and X Drake. Urouge later rejoins a coordinated Supernova counteroffensive. Basil Hawkins distracts Bullet, enabling Scratchmen Apoo's explosive sound attacks. When these fail, Killer slashes at Bullet before X Drake pins him in dinosaur form. Seizing this opening, Urouge lands a heavy blow that inflicts little actual damage. Their combined assault momentarily staggers Bullet, creating an opportunity for Monkey D. Luffy and Eustass Kid's follow-up strike. Urouge notably calls Bullet a "shura," invoking the Buddhist concept of a wrathful demon. After Bullet awakens his Devil Fruit power, disassembling ships and structures into a colossal mechanical exoskeleton, Urouge and the pirates are overpowered. He ultimately retreats from Delta Island alongside the Straw Hat Pirates and other survivors.
