Sabro Sabnock is a demon student at Babyls Demon School, initially assigned to the Abnormal Class for attacking a teacher during enrollment to prove his strength and advance his ambition of becoming the Demon King. Standing 220 cm tall with a muscular build and spiky yellow hair, he wears a distinctive red-collar cape and a necklace holding bronze, silver, and gold plates used for his abilities. His imposing presence initially masks a brash and hotheaded personality, but this evolves significantly after Iruma Suzuki saves him from a near-fatal encounter with the Guardian of Cutthroat Valley. This pivotal event leads Sabro to sincerely apologize to the assaulted teacher, acknowledge Iruma as both a rival and friend, and adopt a more thoughtful and honorable approach while retaining his passionate dedication to his goal. He belongs to the Sabnock family, historically renowned blacksmiths who crafted weapons for the Demon King's army. His drive to become Demon King stems from childhood influences, including tales of the previous Demon King, Delkira, and a rejection of his father Sabzan's life as a blacksmith, which Sabro perceived as lacking ambition. This caused a strained relationship with Sabzan, who explicitly stated Sabro could not become Demon King for undisclosed reasons. Sabro shares a close bond with his younger sister Silvia but has a contentious connection to his uncle Baal, a member of the 13 Crowns. Baal attempted to recruit Sabro into the "Trickster Plan" to become a Demon King candidate, but Sabro refused, valuing his rivalry with Iruma and his growth at Babyls over shortcuts. Sabzan later warned Baal to stay away from the family. Sabro's core ability is his bloodline magic, "Weapon Creation," enabling him to forge weapons by biting metallic materials, typically from his necklace plates. He can create weapons like swords, shields, and lances, swapping them mid-battle for tactical advantage. Under stress or when using a black pill from his mentor Balam, he enters an "Evil Cycle" state where his hair and weapons turn black, amplifying the pain inflicted on opponents and converting that pain into personal pleasure. This state rapidly drains his mana while enhancing combat capabilities. Additional spells include Libera (enhancing throwing strength), Quan Quan (plant manipulation), Cherusil (object transformation), Fractal (gravity manipulation), and La Fire (fire conjuring). His demonic physiology grants enhanced strength, durability, stamina, and speed, demonstrated by feats like shielding allies from a dragon's blast, surviving impalement unharmed, enduring 6,000 squats, and staying awake for four days during the Harvest Festival. His familiar, Ohma, is a kelpie capable of water manipulation and flight. Throughout his academic journey, Sabro demonstrates significant growth. During the Harvest Festival, partnered with Alice Asmodeus under Balam's tutelage, he achieved fourth place with 45,500 points and ranked up to Gimel (3). He later advanced to Daleth (4) after the Music Festival. Key moments include motivating Alice during an失控的邪恶循环, protecting kouhai during the Heartbreaker Challenge, and participating in battles like the Walter Park incident against the Six Fingers' beasts and the Kraken. His resolve to confront previously ignored aspects of his life, such as reconnecting with his family and deepening his knowledge of Demon King lore, further solidifies his development. Despite setbacks like exhaustion during the Harvest Festival and near-death encounters with antagonists like Atori, his commitment to becoming the Demon King through fair competition and self-improvement remains unwavering.
