He later moved to Los Angeles to study at the University of Southern California, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the School of Dramatic Arts in 2009.

Chase began building his career in voice acting by narrating audiobooks, recording over two hundred titles in a short period, and auditioning for roles through online platforms. This foundational work led to his entry into the anime and video game industries, where his versatility quickly became apparent.
