Abigail is a major antagonist originally from the lost Old World, where he was a scientist and one of the Ten Wise Men of Europa, a group responsible for creating advanced technologies and magical entities such as the Spirit Energy Reactor, the Dragon Knight armor, and the God of Destruction Anthrasax. After the Old World’s destruction, he and his colleagues became Dark Elves to extend their lifespans. Centuries before the main story, he left the Ten Wise Men, assumed human form, and traveled as a cleric known as the Dark Prophet of the Underworld. He eventually allied with Dark Schneider as one of the Four Divine Kings. Following Dark Schneider’s apparent death, Abigail sought to break the four seals that imprison Anthrasax. He besieged the Kingdom of Judas and broke the first seal, which led to his full possession by Anthrasax’s spirit. Under this influence, he became a sadistic megalomaniac, inflicting a powerful curse on his ally Arshes Nei, destroying the kingdom of Iron Maiden with an army of zombies, and wielding three ancient demonic artifacts. After Dark Schneider destroyed his physical body, the essence of Anthrasax was expelled, freeing Abigail’s soul. He then hid his identity by disguising himself in a mechanical suit under the alias Angus Yarn and allied with the heroes. He later revealed his identity and helped restore Dark Schneider. Freed from Anthrasax’s control, his personality becomes calmer and more stoic, though his actions retain an over-the-top quality. Abigail is a highly powerful black magic sorcerer. His known spells include Accused, which forces a target to obey the caster’s commands on pain of being transformed into a toad, and Heretic, which causes vine-like tentacles to erupt from the ground to restrain targets. He also possesses a cloak made of living tentacles that can act as lightning rods, anchor him in place, and immobilize opponents. His most formidable power is a giant fused construct he creates by merging with the Three Demonic Treasures, a form covered in Anti-Magic Talismans that is incredibly destructive and resistant to nearly all weapons and magic. This form can fire powerful beams from its arm, mouth, and chest, with the chest attack strong enough to destroy Dark Schneider’s Golem in a single strike. However, it has a critical weakness: the energy-collecting membrane in its chest, exposed when firing that attack, lacks magical protection.
