Description
Jason led the U.S. Army special forces unit Mad Dogs as captain during the 2000 Penamstan civil war. During a mission to extract downed soldiers, his team clashed with insurgents and civilians mutated into zombies, resulting in their infection. A surviving soldier, Jun Shī, supplied an experimental inhibitor serum to stall their transformation. Upon returning, Jason learned their mission had disrupted a classified bioweapons operation, prompting Secretary of Defense Wilson to orchestrate a cover-up. Wilson blackmailed Jason’s team into black ops service by withholding the inhibitor serum, driving all members except Jason to suicide over six years.

By 2006, Jason operated as a federal agent probing a White House cyberattack tied to bioterrorism. Partnering with Shenmei—Jun Shī’s sister—he aimed to expose Wilson’s role in weaponizing the virus. Aboard a covert submarine en route to China, Jason resolved to publicly expose the virus’s horrors, convinced this would deter future atrocities. After a clash with Leon Scott Kennedy left him critically wounded, his viral infection healed the injury but accelerated his mutation. Deprived of inhibitors, he transformed into a Tyrant-like entity with preserved intellect and speech, a rare result of prolonged viral symbiosis.

Confronting Wilson in a hidden lab, Jason infected him with the virus before attempting to broadcast his mutated form worldwide as proof of government-engineered bioweapons. In their final battle, Leon severed Jason’s arm and destabilized the lab, plunging him into an acid tank. Impaled on a steel beam, Jason dissolved, defiantly declaring Leon would continue his legacy of spreading terror. His dissolution marked the end of his six-year crusade against Wilson’s manipulation and the psychological scars of war.

Jason’s choices were fueled by survivor’s guilt, untreated PTSD, and the loss of his unit. His Penamstan trauma and Wilson’s psychological coercion fractured his sanity, convincing him that exposing bioweapon atrocities was the only way to prevent future suffering. Even as extremism consumed him, he clung to a warped moral code, believing his mutation a necessary sacrifice to unveil institutional corruption.
