Description
Hawk is a small, talking pig who serves as both the mascot and a core member of the group centered around the Boar Hat tavern. Despite his species, his name is Hawk, which is an intentional contrast to his appearance.

Originating from the dark and chaotic realm of Purgatory, Hawk was born there under the name Mild. He has an older brother named Wild, from whom he was separated shortly after birth when the Demon King kidnapped him. The Demon King sent Hawk into the living world to serve as an unwitting spy, using him as a living portal to observe his son, Meliodas, through Hawk's own eyes. This act caused Hawk to lose all memories of his past life in Purgatory. His mother is a colossal, pig-shaped creature who is actually a moss shell containing the entity known as Chaos, making her the progenitor of numerous powerful beings.

In the living world, Hawk was living with his mother when they found Meliodas unconscious and rescued him. After hearing Hawk reminisce about a restaurant called Pig Leg, Meliodas was inspired to open the Boar Hat, a mobile pub, with Hawk as its招牌 pig and the self-proclaimed Great Captain of Leftover Disposal. His primary job at the tavern involves handling odd jobs and eating the customers' leftovers.

Personality-wise, Hawk is cheerful, talkative, and possesses a very high opinion of his own strength, often claiming to be more powerful than the Seven Deadly Sins themselves. He is confident in his abilities and has a repertoire of self-named special moves. Despite his ego and his role as comedic relief, he is deeply loyal, brave, and protective of his friends. He frequently scolds Meliodas for his perverted behavior towards Elizabeth and is often seen as the voice of reason and the group's connection to common sense.

Hawk's key relationships are central to the story. He is the closest companion and partner to Meliodas, having saved his life and helped run the Boar Hat for ten years. He shares a strong bond with Elizabeth, often protecting her during battles and keeping her company. He admires the sin of greed, Ban, because Ban is his favorite chef and makes the best leftovers.

Throughout the narrative, Hawk's role evolves from a simple mascot to a more active participant in adventures. His development is marked by the discovery of his mysterious origins and the awakening of his unique magical ability. His primary ability is called Transform, which allows him to gain the characteristics and partial powers of any magical beast whose meat he consumes. For instance, eating a dragon's meat allows him to breathe fire. He is also known to wear the Balor's Magical Eye, an earring that lets him see the power levels, or combat class, of others. Despite his claims, his base combat class is very low, with a 0 in magic, though this changes significantly when he uses his Transform ability. His physical weight is deceptively heavy at approximately 140 kilograms, making him surprisingly difficult for a normal human to lift. He also possesses a mysterious regenerative quality, as he once died protecting his friends only to later revive himself.
