Description
Harlequin, revered as King, reigns as the Fairy King and the Grizzly’s Sin of Sloth. Emerging over a millennium ago from the Sacred Tree in the Fairy King’s Forest, he ascended as its third ruler, entrusted with safeguarding harmony between fairies and humans. His early years saw him defend the forest alongside his sister Elaine and friend Helbram, yet his distrust of humans ignited conflict when hunters betrayed Helbram’s group, slaughtering them for fairy wings. A near-fatal rescue attempt left him in the care of Diane, a young giantess who saved him. He lost his memories and remained by her side for centuries.

Regaining his past, he faced Helbram, now consumed by vengeance against humanity, and struck him down. Holy Knights branded him the Sin of Sloth for negligence, leading him to join the Seven Deadly Sins. To shield Diane from resurfacing memories of their shared history, he adopted a human guise. Initially hostile toward Ban for Elaine’s death, their rivalry softened when her spirit mediated, forging mutual respect.

Later, he wed Diane, uniting the Fairy and Giant clans, fathering seven children and adopting a human son. His power stems from the Spirit Spear Chastiefol, a Sacred Tree weapon morphing into forms like a spear, guardian bear, and healing pollen barrier. He wields molecular manipulation through Disaster, levitation, and amplifying allies’ capabilities. Trials alongside former Commandments Gloxinia and Drole propelled him through time to the Holy War 3,000 years prior, where witnessing ancient strife awakened butterfly-like wings—emblems of matured power.

In battles against adversaries like Chandler, his resolve and leadership flourished, exemplified by strategic teamwork and reconciling with Gowther, cementing evolved alliances. Confronting vulnerabilities—overreliance on Chastiefol and physical limits—he honed his resolve to protect comrades. Meliodas’ mentorship helped him transcend past trauma.

His battles triggered physical metamorphoses—taller, winged visages surging in combat, though exhaustion forced regression. Once a disguise, his human form later bore permanent wings, reflecting his growth. His journey intertwined struggles of duty against heart, and conquering deep-seated distrust, further sculpting his legacy.
