OVA
Description
Kohaku recurs as a comedic fixture, her portrayal deliberately exaggerated for humor and distinct from her Tsukihime origins. She operates as a mad scientist and witch, wielding extensive knowledge of medicine and herbs to craft bizarre drugs and concoctions. These creations produce absurd results, such as a serum reverting Akiha Tohno's personality to that of a four-year-old.

She frequently manipulates others using her inventions or engineers chaotic situations. Kohaku spins comedic narratives around her sister Hisui's fan persona, "Brainwashing Detective Hisui." Her mischievous nature drives her to troll others and execute elaborate pranks, often within the Tohno residence or Ahnenerbe café. Her scientific escapades include gag creations like "Mecha Hisui."

Her interactions highlight a dynamic with Hisui, where Kohaku typically takes charge in their segments while showing simplified protectiveness. Playful antagonism defines her relationship with characters like Akiha, marked by barbs about Akiha's traits. Kohaku displays no romantic interest in Shiki Tohno here, instead actively encouraging a potential connection between Shiki and Akiha.

Visually, she retains her short red hair and kimono, but her actions and expressions are heightened for slapstick effect. This includes frequently breaking objects during cleaning, a trait exaggerated purely for laughs. Her dialogue often references scientific experiments or situational comedy, with in-game win lines emphasizing her eccentricity. Her traumatic past and motivations for revenge are entirely absent, replaced by a consistently lighthearted, scheming facade.

Kohaku maintains a minor, supporting role across episodes. Her most significant appearance occurs in Episode 10, where her drug manipulation of Akiha fuels comedic plot exploration. She participates briefly in group events like the Holy Grail Grand Prix and the final Ahnenerbe party, reinforcing her established gag traits without individual development. Her primary function is fueling the series' absurdist tone through scientific mischief and exaggerated sisterly antics.
