Description
Sirius, son of Glaucus (Oceanus), God of Water, is heir to the Sea Kingdom. His father entrusts him with protecting the Eye of Argon (Algorac), a powerful artifact symbolizing rulership over the water realm and serving as a seal against the imprisoned wind god. This responsibility coincides with his formal crowning as the Sea Kingdom's ruler.

Initially carefree and adventurous, Sirius explores forbidden waters and encounters Malta, the Fire Princess, igniting a forbidden romance. Their relationship defies the longstanding enmity between fire and water, stemming from a divine conflict orchestrated by Argon that divided their parents. Despite warnings, societal taboos, and the revelation they are cousins as children of sibling deities, Sirius pursues the relationship, driven by idealism and devotion. He exhibits protective instincts, especially toward his younger brother Teak (Bibble), though his negligence during a jellyfish attack leaves the Sea Kingdom vulnerable, harming Teak and prompting guilt.

Sirius shows resilience against antagonists like the salamander Mabuse (Mugwug) who seeks the Eye. Guided by the wise sea turtle Moelle (Aristurtle), he learns of a legendary star where fire and water coexist. Believing this offers a future with Malta, he commits to finding the Klaesco blossoms (Kalea flowers) on Mobius Hill (Hill of Elysium), which bloom during an eclipse and release spores to that star. His resolve intensifies after Piale’s sacrificial death reignites the Holy Flame and Malta’s imprisonment.

In the climax, Sirius escapes confinement but is blinded after a fall while searching for Malta. Reaching her during the eclipse, he disregards the lethal danger of sunlight to approach her, resulting in his death. His final act—a physical declaration of love despite Malta’s initial rejection—culminates in their joint sacrifice, which reconciles their warring lineages. Their bodies are sent skyward to form a new constellation, symbolizing eternal unity. Sirius evolves from a playful prince to a figure of commitment through his choices.
