Tony Oliver is a prominent Puerto Rican-born American voice actor, voice director, and writer with a career spanning several decades. Born in 1958, he began his professional journey as a stage and on-camera actor before transitioning to voice-over work. His debut in animation was voicing Sirius in the 1982 film The Sea Prince and the Fire Child, one of the first foreign animated features to receive a wide US release. He gained his first major television role as the iconic Rick Hunter in the groundbreaking series Robotech, a character he has reprised in subsequent projects.

Oliver is widely recognized as the modern English voice of Arsène Lupin III in the long-running Lupin the Third franchise. He has voiced the gentleman thief in numerous installments, including Part II, Part IV, Part V, Part 6, and several films such as Lupin III: The First, Lupin III: Prison of the Past, Lupin III: Goodbye Partner, and Lupin III vs. Detective Conan The Movie. Another signature role is the Lancer-class Servant Cú Chulainn across the Fate franchise. He has portrayed various iterations of the character, including Lancer in Fate/stay night and Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, as well as Caster and Alter versions in titles like Fate/Grand Carnival and Fate/Grand Order: First Order.

His extensive voice filmography includes a wide array of notable characters in major anime series. He is the voice of Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage, in the Naruto and Naruto Shippuden series and films, including The Lost Tower. He portrayed Ulquiorra Cifer in Bleach, Harry MacDowell in Gungrave, Bat in Fist of the North Star: The Movie, Sha Gojyo in Saiyuki Reload, and Hibiki in Vandread. Other credits include roles in Gurren Lagann, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Lucky Star, Eureka Seven, and many more.

Beyond performance, Oliver is an accomplished voice director, writer, and producer. In the early 1990s, he was a key creative force behind the cultural phenomenon Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, serving as a development producer, head writer, and the voice of Saba the talking sword, among other roles. He has since directed English adaptations for numerous series, including Fate/Zero, Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, Love Live!, Charlotte, Magi: The Kingdom of Magic, Hunter x Hunter, and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. He also works extensively as a voice director for video games, including titles like League of Legends. Recognized for his contributions, he was named to IMDB's top 20 all-time anime voice actors list.
