Nika Nanaura, a second-year mechanical department student at Asticassia School of Technology and Earth House member, grew up orphaned in poverty on Earth. Her childhood involved forced labor in scrap yards and mechanics factories, unknowing her origins, yet honing exceptional mechanical skills. Naji Geor Hija of the Dawn of Fold became a father figure to her. Shaddiq Zenelli arranged her Asticassia enrollment via a fake corporate sponsorship, listing Naji as her guardian and binding her as a go-between for Shaddiq and Dawn of Fold.
Nika exhibits outstanding maintenance talent, customizing mobile suits like Chuchu Panlunch's Demi Trainer and displaying intense curiosity about Suletta Mercury's Gundam Aerial. Kind, compassionate, and conflict-averse, she mediates disputes within Earth House, even acquiescing to Spacian bullies despite inner resentment. She befriended Suletta first at Asticassia, aiding her initial duel and facilitating her Earth House acceptance against opposition from members like Chuchu.
Though not Earth House's formal leader, Nika acts as de facto head through initiative and mediation. She supports GUND-ARM, Inc.'s establishment to earn Spacian respect and study the Aerial, yet privately wrestles with ethical qualms about developing Spacian weapons. Her secret role as Shaddiq's intermediary fuels guilt, leading her to conceal past and present activities. During Dawn of Fold's Plant Quetta attack, she signals Norea Du Noc (piloting Lfrith Thorn) with an ally symbol to spare Earth House's ship—an act witnessed by Martin Upmont, sparking loyalty confrontations.
Post-Quetta, Nika withdraws into depression. She confronts Norea after she and Sophie Pulone join Earth House under Shaddiq's fake sponsorship, mirroring Nika's path. Norea threatens her with a knife. Later captured by Shaddiq's group, Nika is beaten by Norea and learns of "Enhanced Persons." Escaping during school chaos, she aids in Asticassia's defense.
Afterward, Nika confesses her deeds to Martin, seeking atonement. She plans to surrender and dreams of bridging Earth and space. Participating in a critical mission via the Demi Barding's Baoli Pack, she later serves a sentence. Three years post-release, friends welcome her back; she earns new qualifications, intends to return to school, and continues supporting others.
Nika has multicolored hair, blue eyes, and stands approximately 162 cm tall. Her design emphasizes a gentle, trustworthy aesthetic, later featuring a short, boyish haircut. She collects cute character keychains, gifting one to Miorine Rembran.
