Miorine Rembran, daughter of Delling Rembran, president of the Benerit Group and chairman of the Asticassia School of Technology's board, carries the lasting impact of her botanist mother's death during her childhood. Delling prevented her from attending the funeral and halted activities like piano lessons, fostering deep resentment. Enrolling at Asticassia as a second-year in management strategy, she achieved academic distinction without corporate house affiliation, residing instead in her father's old campus office. She maintained a greenhouse cultivating tomatoes from her mother's seeds, symbolizing that maternal connection.
Characterized by cynicism, abrasiveness, and fierce independence, Miorine actively rebelled against her father. She repeatedly attempted escapes to Earth and openly defied Delling, often insulting him. This included rejecting the school's dueling system that designated the top-ranked duelist, initially Guel Jeturk, as her fiancé ("Holder"). The arrival of Suletta Mercury changed this; after Suletta inadvertently thwarted an escape and later defeated Guel using the Gundam Aerial, Miorine declared her the new Holder and fiancée. Though initially viewing the engagement as temporary while planning escape, Miorine gradually developed a genuine bond with Suletta.
Miorine possesses keen intelligence, leadership, and business acumen. Following the Plant Quetta incident, she founded GUND-ARM, Inc. with Suletta to legitimize GUND technology for medicine and protect Aerial from Benerit sanctions. She hired Earth House members, showing no prejudice against Earthians. However, her management style sometimes mirrored Delling's controlling tendencies, making unilateral decisions like hiring greenhouse caretakers or recruiting Elan Ceres #5 as a test pilot without consulting Suletta, causing misunderstandings. Her pride and impulsive decisions often led to complications.
Discovering Suletta was manipulated by her mother, Prospera Mercury, in a revenge scheme against Delling, Miorine sought to protect her. She struck a deal with Prospera, resulting in a plan where Miorine and Guel forcibly stripped Suletta of the Holder title and Aerial. This intended betrayal to free Suletta strained their relationship. Miorine later recognized her complicity in Prospera's larger plans involving Quiet Zero. During the Quiet Zero incident, witnessing Suletta pilot the Gundam Calibarn at great cost, Miorine announced the dissolution of the Benerit Group and sale of its assets to end the Spacian-Earthian conflict.
Three years post-Quiet Zero, Miorine underwent significant personal growth. She married Suletta Mercury and served as founder and CEO of the reformed GUND-ARM, Inc., focusing on peaceful medical GUND applications. Her personality evolved into a kinder, warmer, happier demeanor while retaining her serious and intelligent nature, a departure from her formerly cold, cynical, and withdrawn self.
Her relationship with Delling remained complex, marked by mutual coldness and control, though they interacted civilly as fellow CEOs at times, and he protected her during crises. Her friendship with Shaddiq Zenelli ended before the series due to his self-serving nature. A spin-off manga, *Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury: Seishun Frontier*, reimagines Miorine and Suletta as normal high school students in near-future Japan.
