Description
Miko Iino enters Shuchiin Academy as a first-year, advancing to second year. Her family instilled a powerful sense of justice: her father is a Supreme Court judge and her mother works for an international humanitarian organization. Their demanding careers resulted in a lonely childhood, fostering her rigid morality and uncompromising dedication to enforcing rules. This drive led her to join the Public Morals Committee in elementary school, where she confronted all rule violations regardless of status. Her inflexibility earned her a reputation contributing to repeated losses in student council elections.

Petite at 147 cm tall, Miko has long brown hair usually in loose pigtails and brown eyes. She wears the Shuchiin uniform with a Public Morals Committee armband. Despite her stern demeanor, she sleeps hugging a large stuffed animal under a towel blanket and possesses a surprisingly large appetite for her size.

Academically, Miko ranks first in her year, known for diligence and perfectionism. She was historically crippled by stage fright during elections but overcame it during a debate with Miyuki Shirogane. After losing the presidential election to him, she joined the 68th Student Council as Auditor while keeping her Public Morals duties.

Her personality blends extreme idealism with contradictions. She enforces rules with authoritarian zeal yet craves peer validation and softens easily when praised. She idolizes Chika Fujiwara, whom she met in a childhood piano competition, emulating her despite Chika's occasionally patronizing behavior. Miko maintains a strict stance against perceived immorality but frequently misinterprets benign situations as suggestive and indulges in rich, often dark, romantic fantasies. Her online persona contrasts sharply, characterized by excessive emoji use and an interest in ASMR, particularly recordings of male voices offering praise.

Miko's relationship with Yu Ishigami shifts from adversarial due to his rule-breaking to romantic. In middle school, Ishigami anonymously sent her a pressed flower and encouraging letter during a difficult time, which she treasures as a symbol of idealized love. During Shuchiin's Culture Festival, Ishigami found her enforcing fire safety, presented her with a heart-shaped pendant (claiming it was Discipline Committee property), and showed photos of classmates enjoying the event, subtly shifting her feelings. She later openly acknowledged jealousy of his relationship with Tsubame Koyasu and recognized her romantic attachment, unaware of his earlier anonymous kindness.

Key experiences shape her development. In the Culture Festival horror house, classmates restrained her and whispered provocatively into microphones near her ears during a binaural recording. The amplified public audio blurred horror and eroticism, exposing her vulnerability and unconventional sensory fascinations. She later sought connections through activities like online gaming to attract Ishigami and navigated complex social challenges, including being rescued by him and Rei Onodera from a manipulative upperclassman.

Progressing, Miko learns to balance idealism with flexibility, occasionally relaxing her stern demeanor for lighthearted activities like social media photo filters. Her leadership potential is recognized upon election as President of the 69th Student Council, where she appoints Ishigami as Vice President, echoing the Shirogane-Shinomiya dynamic.

Additional trivia includes her favorite anime being *Onegai My Melody*, her tendency to write unsettling poetry, her acute sense of smell, low alcohol tolerance, expressed fondness for kabedon, and an unexplained fascination with baldness.
