Description
Miko Iino is a first-year, then second-year student at Shuchi'in Academy. Her father is a Supreme Court judge and her mother works for an international humanitarian organization; their demanding careers often left her alone as a child. This fostered loneliness and a belief that "bad people" kept her parents away, contributing to her rigid sense of justice and moral correctness.

She stands at 147 cm tall with brown eyes and long brown hair typically styled in loose pigtails featuring distinctive braids tied at the ends. As a member of the Public Morals Committee, she wears a yellow armband on her left arm alongside her school uniform and black tights. She is occasionally seen with a towel blanket.

Strictly adhering to rules, she actively enforces school regulations regardless of student status, making her unpopular but undeterred. Academically, she ranks first in her class, driven by a fear that losing this position would cause others to ignore her. Despite her stern demeanor, she craves validation and responds strongly to praise, easily softening her stance or becoming susceptible to manipulation. Privately, she overuses emoticons in texts, has a surprisingly large appetite, listens to chanting sounds, composes dark poetry, enjoys anime like "Onegai My Melody," and collects related merchandise.

Actively participating in student governance since elementary school, she repeatedly lost elections due to her strict reputation and nervousness during speeches. At Shuchi'in, she ran for Student Council President against Miyuki Shirogane and lost. Impressed, Miyuki invited her to join as Auditor, a role she accepted while continuing Public Morals duties. This position led to frequent misunderstandings, such as walking in on intimate moments between other council members.

She shares a longstanding friendship with Kobachi Osaragi, who protected her since their elementary school days on the Moral Committee. Miko idolizes Chika Fujiwara after a childhood piano competition encounter, initially envisioning Chika as her vice president. Her dynamic with Yu Ishigami began adversarially due to his rule-breaking but evolved into mutual, secretive support. Ishigami anonymously protected her from middle school bullying by sending a pressed flower and encouraging letter—items she treasured without knowing their origin. During the Culture Festival, he gifted her a heart-shaped pendant and showed photos so she wouldn't miss the festivities, subtly shifting her feelings. These experiences culminated in her openly acknowledging her crush and jealousy over his relationship with Tsubame Koyasu.

Gradual integration into the Student Council exposed her to unconventional behavior, challenging her rigidity. She learned to relax in small ways, like using humorous filters on social media. Her bond with Ishigami deepened through shared experiences, including her attempts to connect by playing FPS games. Key moments, like being rescued by Ishigami and Rei Onodera from a manipulative upperclassman during a school event, reinforced her reliance on others. Her initial idealized, prince-centric perception of love evolved towards a more realistic understanding.

She struggles with public speaking, sleeps without a bed while hugging a stuffed animal, has an acute sense of smell, possesses low alcohol tolerance, and has a fondness for kabedon as a romantic gesture.
