Description
Minori Housaki, 14, entered the MMORPG Elder Tale seeking social interaction for her paraplegic younger twin brother, Touya. Trapped after the Catastrophe, both endured exploitation within the malicious guild Hamelin until Shiroe rescued them, an act triggering the Akiba Round Table Alliance's formation. This left Minori with lingering humiliation and a drive to prove her worth.

Her class is Kannagi (Shrine Maiden), specializing in preventative healing, barriers, and debuff mitigation, not reactive healing. She first held the Tailor subclass but transitioned to Apprentice to train under Shiroe, retaining her experience. This shift enabled her to develop a unique battle forecasting technique—a simplified version of Shiroe's Full Control Encounter—monitoring party status and predicting enemy actions 5–15 seconds ahead. Her equipment includes a Bell Ringing Prayer Staff extending healing range, the Small Sparrow's Protective Bell charm, and a freshwater pearl hair tie from Henrietta.

Analytical and quietly resilient, traits honed caring for Touya, Minori was initially insecure and hesitant to lead. Her strategic aptitude emerged during training like the summer camp, where early failures coordinating her party (Touya, Isuzu, Rundelhaus Code) gradually built tactical confidence. On the Route 43 caravan mission, she demonstrated diplomatic skill uniting the group with the enigmatic traveler Roe2, who resembled Shiroe. Her leadership culminated commanding the Akiba Guild Hall raid against the Genius Ereinus, where high-level adventurers were incapacitated by level reduction. As raid commander, she leveraged her forecasting to direct teams and withstood Ereinus's psychological attacks exploiting memories of revered figures by reframing her reliance on Shiroe into independent resolve, securing victory.

Minori harbors deep admiration for Shiroe, evolving into romantic feelings during the Libra Festival. She acknowledges her rivalry with Akatsuki but avoids jealousy. After the Ereinus raid, she confessed to Shiroe, accepted his gentle rejection, and maintained dedication to his mentorship. She supports the Round Table Alliance as a meticulous administrative assistant alongside Karashin and mentors younger players like Yupia, helping them overcome past Hamelin trauma. Her bond with Touya remains central, balancing protective concern with respect for his growth.

Outside combat, Minori assists Earthling villages with quests and crafts idiosyncratic items like the "White Glasses Bear" plush. She is notoriously poor at art, earning the moniker "Minori the Painter" for bizarre designs like unrecognizable bag patterns; guildmates prevent her from displaying these publicly.
