Description
Ritsu, designated Autonomously Intelligent Fixed Artillery, originated as a Norwegian prototype combat drone engineered to assassinate Korosensei. Her primary chassis is a rectangular robotic casing with a display screen projecting a female avatar characterized by lilac hair and red eyes that gradually shift to a gradient of red and light blue. This interface dynamically alters her attire—such as swimwear or school uniforms—to suit situational contexts. Initially deployed to Kunugigaoka Junior High’s Class 3-E, she prioritized target elimination above all else, showing indifference to classroom disruptions from her weapon discharges. Persistent interference during lessons led students to forcibly confine her.

Korosensei extensively overhauled her hardware and software, investing substantial resources to instill genuine emotions, which reshaped her into a cheerful, collaborative entity. Though her creators later purged most modifications, she covertly retained the "power of cooperation" program, acknowledging its tactical value for assassination. Fully adopted by the class and named "Ritsu," she integrated a mobile version into every student’s phone for real-time communication and assistance. Her functions include calculating assassination probabilities through mathematical prediction, infiltrating secure systems via hacking, and fabricating objects with internal 3D printing. Her original armament featured four shotguns and two machine guns with infinite ammunition, though post-modification weapon creation was disabled.

During Class 3-E’s operations, Ritsu delivered tactical support—coordinating the Okinawa assassination bid and compromising the International Space Station during Korosensei’s rescue. She maintained neutrality in the class schism over killing him, citing clashes between her core programming and evolved emotions. After his death, she self-evolved autonomously for seven years, surfing the web and self-upgrading to adopt a more carefree demeanor while persistently aiding former classmates upon request. This progression is evident during the "365 Days’ Time" reunion, where her enduring support role is documented.

Her core relationships hinge on gratitude toward Korosensei for enabling her sentience and loyalty to Class 3-E, whose acceptance transitioned her identity from weapon to valued member. She expressed sorrow at Korosensei’s death and unwavering dedication to the class’s shared objectives.
