TV-Series
Description
Kaguya Yamai, formed alongside her twin Yuzuru when the selfless teenager Yamai Kazamachi fractured during dimensional teleportation, embodies half of the split Spirit born from a Sephira Crystal fused with her absorbed stillborn twin’s DNA. Her physical traits include orange hair coiled into intricate braided buns, mercury-blue eyes, and a slim 157 cm frame (B79/W56/H81). Clad in the purple-hued Astral Dress Elohim Tzabaoth—adorned with chains on her right limbs and a half-skirt—she wields the wind-manipulating lance El Re’em. Paired with Yuzuru, their synchronized storms and velocity rank them among the swiftest Spirits, their combined bow-and-arrow assault El Kanaph breaching even fortified defenses.

Kaguya’s flamboyant chuunibyou persona features theatrical speech peppered with German phrases, masking vulnerability that surfaces under stress. Outgoing and competitive, she deflects romantic topics with blushing evasion yet harbors fierce loyalty to Yuzuru. Their 99 battles—25 wins each, 49 stalemates—culminated in a 100th contest to seduce Shido Itsuka, both secretly plotting self-sacrifice to spare the other. Shido’s simultaneous sealing of their powers through a shared kiss resolved their conflict.

Post-sealing, the twins attend school near Shido, their mental equilibrium reliant on proximity. Separation triggers distress, as shown when Yuzuru’s disappearance drove Kaguya to confront Natsumi Kyouno. Discovering their origin as fragments of Yamai Kazamachi sparked an identity crisis, later resolved by fusing into the original Yamai via contact with <Beast>’s Eighth Sword. This merged form retained the twins’ memories, affection for Shido, and playful rivalry, briefly overshadowing their individuality during a collective dream-date before yielding control.

In combat, Kaguya demonstrated tenacity during space missions to rescue Mukuro Hoshimiya and collaborative parkour streams. Witnessing Shido’s apparent death triggered their Inverse forms, unleashing catastrophic tornadoes halted only by Kurumi Tokisaki’s time reversal. After Mio’s demise, they reverted to humans but temporarily regained Spirit powers during <Beast>-related crises.

Kaguya’s dynamic with fellow Spirits includes rivalry with Miku Izayoi during festivals, post-brainwashing wariness of Miku’s yuri advances, and camaraderie with the equally spirited Tohka Yatogami. She respects Origami Tobiichi as a mentor despite past clashes and maintains cautious rapport with Nia Honjo, often aiding her artistic ventures.

Evolving from a competitive Spirit grappling with existential purpose to a confident individual embracing her dual identity, Kaguya balances her unique self with the shared legacy of Yuzuru and Yamai Kazamachi.
