TV-Series
Description
Nein Auler commands the government agency Dorothea as its Director and First Unit Commander, dedicated to investigating and suppressing illegal fairy activities. She stands as the only female member of the elite Seven Knights from the War of Unification, renowned for her combat skill which earned her the epithet "Witch of Ainedern."

Her appearance features short brown hair, blue eyes, and a mole beneath her lower lip on the left side. She typically presents a professional demeanor in her Dorothea uniform. While formal, disciplined, and serious in her duties, she exhibits occasional kindness, such as permitting Chimee to stay near her and sharing a lighthearted moment with Lily Heineman about becoming prime minister. Years leading Dorothea shifted her presentation from a more feminine wartime look to a physically worn austerity.

Her combat prowess includes masterful swordsmanship and wielding her fairy, Morzneak, whose ice manipulation flash-freezes targets, especially other fairies. Damage to Morzneak directly harms Nein. Her primary weapon, Aliadra, is a unique fairy sword that detaches into segments forming a bladed whip, significantly extending her melee reach. She remains the sole known wielder capable of using Aliadra without self-injury.

Key operational decisions include authorizing Free Underbar's infiltration of the Gui Carlin mafia to investigate Marlya Noel's fairy-possession, suppressing Schwarz Diese's rebellion by deploying Aliadra against artificial fairy soldiers, and coordinating Dorothea's actions against Gui Carlin after securing arrest authorization from Prime Minister Golbarn Helwise. Following Golbarn's assassination, she protected Ray Dawn during a convoy attack and battled Beevee Liscar. After her sword broke, she utilized Aliadra and Morzneak to freeze Beevee's fairy, Eizenkopf, defeating him despite sustaining injuries.

Politically, she reported fairy tome discoveries to Marco Bellwood before implicating him in information leaks to the Ministry of Fairies, resulting in his arrest order. After Golbarn's death, she facilitated Ray Dawn's meeting with Emperor Castal Harol, leading to Ray becoming prime minister. The epilogue positions her leadership during the postwar crisis as making her a potential candidate for prime minister.
