Description
Remia belongs to the aquatic dagon race, distinguished by fan-like fin ears and webbed hands and feet. A widow since 24, she raised her daughter Myu alone for five years after her husband's death before meeting Hajime Nagumo. Though an arranged marriage under the Heiligh Kingdom's sea folk policy, she cherished her husband, who urged her to remarry for companionship and a father figure for Myu. Her life was shattered when slavers abducted Myu; Remia intervened but suffered crippling injuries, losing her ability to walk or swim until Kaori Shirasaki healed her.

In her mid-20s, Remia possesses long emerald-green hair, deep blue eyes, and her race's defining traits. She favors a linen-colored dress with orange accents and light blue vertical stripes, accessorized with a thin black headband and purple hair clips. On Earth, she uses a magic pendant from Hajime to disguise her green hair as blonde and her fin ears as human ears. Her fashion sense is sharp, leading her to design jewelry for Hajime's ventures and later co-found a clothing line with Tio Klarus.

Remia exhibits kindness, perceptiveness, and unwavering devotion to Myu. She often uses the phrase "Ara ara" and maintains a calm, smiling demeanor. Her perceptiveness allows her to grasp others' motivations, like Hajime's attachment to Myu and his internal conflicts. She demonstrates boldness, openly flirting with Hajime and calling him "Darling" or "husband" to tease him and others. Despite her gentle nature, she becomes stern protecting Myu from perceived negative influences, whether Hajime's ruthlessness or Tio's perversion. Remia also displays cunning, masking her true intentions skillfully enough to deceive even Tio.

Her relationship with Hajime evolved from profound gratitude for Myu's rescue into genuine romantic love. Initially pretending to be his wife for Myu's sake, she eventually developed real feelings and became one of his wives after moving to Japan. She frequently flirts with lines like "Would you like dinner, a bath, or your wife and daughter?" She teases Kaori about her feelings for Hajime, thanks Shea Haulia for helping rescue Myu, and maintains a cautious friendship with Tio while disapproving of her influence. She views Yue as a romantic rival due to Yue's status as Hajime's first wife, though Yue's jealousy doesn't unsettle her. She actively discourages the merchant Lehman from giving Myu misconceptions about marriage.

During the Melusine Undersea Ruins exploration, Remia encouraged Hajime to prioritize his journey despite his bond with Myu. After Ehit's defeat, she relocated to Japan, adapting to human society. Her life on Earth involves managing her clothing business, watching soap operas, and integrating into Hajime's family. Challenges include a traumatic Valentine's Day incident with Tio involving provocative dressing and a fear of ghosts. Artifacts from Hajime aid her daily life: a ring-shaped dimensional storage (Treasure Trove), a spatial gate key home, and a hybrid smartphone for interdimensional communication and emergency healing.

Physiologically, she possesses enhanced swimming and underwater breathing as a dagon. After apostle hybridization, she gained heightened strength and durability. Her skills include social perceptiveness, business acumen in fashion, and adaptability to human society.

Trivia notes her character inspiration from Alicia Florence (Aria), a shared Japanese voice actress with Mona Haulia, and her unique status among Hajime's wives as the only non-magic user and previously married mother. She is also the series' first beastman-apostle hybrid.
