Description
Puck, an artificial spirit crafted four centuries past by the Witch of Greed Echidna alongside Beatrice as one-third of her trio, first served Echidna before forsaking their pact to forge a bond with Emilia—a half-elf girl he discovered encased in ice within Elior Forest. After thawing her, he evolved into her guardian, mentor, and paternal figure, affectionately dubbing her "Lia" or "my daughter." Contracting with her breached his oath to Echidna, erasing portions of his memory.

Resembling a petite grey-and-white feline with a drooping left ear adorned by a golden hoop and a nine-centimeter stature, Puck often carries a tiny magenta pouch. His true manifestation, the Beast of the End, emerges as a colossal twenty-meter feline entity with luminous eyes, radiating freezing energy and demanding vast mana to sustain.

Playfully mischievous yet fiercely protective, Puck charms allies like Emilia and Subaru with lighthearted jests, though Emilia’s demise triggers a cataclysmic shift, compelling him to annihilate existence per their contract. He shares a sisterly rapport with Beatrice and begrudgingly tolerates Subaru, sensing his earnestness, but distrust invites his icy disdain.

A master of fire, water, wind, earth, and yin magic, he specializes in Absolute Zero ice spells, siphons mana through touch, detects curses, and communicates telepathically with spirit-linked individuals. His Beast of the End form magnifies these powers but ravages environments through rapid mana absorption.

During the Sanctuary crisis, Roswaal’s meddling with his contract barred Puck from assisting Emilia in her trials. To liberate her suppressed memories, he dissolved their pact, sacrificing his mana and retreating into a dormant crystal to prevent ecological devastation. Ongoing endeavors seek a potent magic crystal to revive him safely and reforge their bond.

Guided by unwavering loyalty, Puck spent seven years preparing Emilia for the Royal Selection, aided her in vanquishing the Great Spirit Melakuera, and consistently placed her survival above his own. His cryptic history with Beatrice echoes Echidna’s legacy, though fragmented memories veil their shared origins.
