TV-Series
Description
Designated U-1146, this neutrophil patrols the human body eliminating invading pathogens and foreign substances. He possesses extremely pale skin, white hair styled to cover his right eye, and black eyes, mirroring actual neutrophil coloration. His standard white uniform frequently bears cytoplasm stains from combat.

Typically reserved, soft-spoken, and aloof on patrol, U-1146 transforms into an aggressive, ruthless fighter against germs. Despite this violent duty, he consistently shows kindness, selflessness, and a readiness to protect fellow cells at personal cost. He maintains respectful relationships across all cell types and ranks, demonstrating empathy by acknowledging infected cells he must eliminate or hearing an enemy's final words. He displays a particular soft spot for a Normal Cell ("Cell Boy") and beneficial bacteria, occasionally exhibiting unintentional humor like casually dispatching pathogens while greeting colleagues.

Originating as a myelocyte in the bone marrow, he encountered a young erythroblast (Red Blood Cell AE3803) under attack by *Pseudomonas aeruginosa* during training. He intervened, protected her, and endured assaults until reinforcements arrived. The young cells expressed a hope to meet again as adults before returning to maturation, though the likelihood seemed uncertain. After maturing fully, he joined the Neutrophil Division, patrolling blood vessels and tissues to neutralize threats, initially failing to recognize AE3803 when they later met in the bloodstream.

U-1146 wields standard neutrophil capabilities optimized for pathogen destruction: enhanced agility and strength for swift threat elimination, often using knives proficiently in close combat or as projectiles. His phagocytosis ability allows analysis or consumption of foreign cells. A receptor on his hat functions as a radar detecting nearby threats. Additional biological features serve as functional tools: L-selectin enables surface adhesion, and his status as a wandering cell grants freedom of movement throughout the bloodstream and tissues via transmigration.

His most significant relationship is with Red Blood Cell AE3803, whom he frequently rescues from pathogens due to her danger-prone nature; their professional rapport features mutual respect and subtle camaraderie. He regularly interacts with other immune cells: tolerating Killer T Cell's aggressive attitude, cooperating with cheerful yet combat-ready Macrophages, and assisting Platelets during injury responses. Spin-offs like *Cells at Work! WHITE* expand his interactions, depicting team leadership with other neutrophils and a "big brother" dynamic alongside his subdued presentation.

Across the franchise, including the main series, *WHITE*, *BABY*, and *LADY*, U-1146 remains a constant presence, persistently dedicated to his core mission of patrolling and defending the body as a protector within the cellular world.
