TV-Series
Description
Komajirō is a komainu yo-kai resembling a shiba inu. He possesses ochre-colored fur with cream patches around his muzzle and stomach, darker ochre inner ears and tail, light blue eyes, and brown swirls on his cheeks and hips. Long, flaming brown eyebrows resembling hitodama flames and a blue swirl-patterned pouch are consistent traits. Mirroring stomach swirls appear in specific game versions like *Yo-kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits*. He transforms into a human form by placing a leaf on his head, similar to his brother Komasan.

As Komasan's younger twin brother, Komajirō originates from the countryside but adapts more readily to urban life, displaying curiosity, optimism, and quicker assimilation of modern technology and slang. This adaptability sometimes causes Komasan mild jealousy. Despite often outperforming his brother, Komajirō maintains deep admiration for Komasan, viewing him as inspirational and supportive. They share a small urban residence and frequently embark on joint adventures.

His primary ability involves causing humans to misplace items through inspiriting, aligning with his Charming tribe affiliation. Game-exclusive capabilities feature electricity manipulation, including throwing lightning bolts and executing techniques like "Lightning" (いかずちの術) and the Soultimate move "Wild Zaps" (風来サンダー), which targets all enemies with area-of-effect lightning. These combat skills are absent in anime portrayals.

He evolves into Komiger upon reaching level 33 in *Yo-kai Watch 2* or level 35 in the original game. Alternate evolution paths involve fusion with a Swirly Soul in *Yo-kai Watch Blasters*. Game progression unlocks other yo-kai like Komashura and Spoilerina through specific interactions. His urban integration includes adopting the alias "KJ" while working as a nightclub DJ, showcasing his social adaptability.

Relationships center on familial bonds: unwavering loyalty to Komasan despite occasional competitiveness, shared concern for their mother ("Koma Mom") in the countryside, and collaborations with human protagonists like Nate and Hailey Anne during missions. Recurring story elements involve searching for Komasan after separations and participating in group activities, such as raiding in *Blasters T* with dialogue reflecting his enthusiasm.

Appearances span multiple games and anime media. Key game roles include being playable in main entries (*Yo-kai Watch*–*4*) and spin-offs (*Blasters*, *Busters 2*, *Wibble Wobble*), with specific befriending methods like Crank-a-kai machines or story-based encounters. Anime debuts occur in *Komasan In The City: Here's Komajiro!*, with recurring roles in mini-segments and crossover films like *Yo-kai Watch Shadowside*.
