Description
Sheyta Synthesis Twelve, also translated as Sheyta, was a high-ranking Integrity Knight forged by the Axiom Church's Synthesis Ritual after her victory in the Four Empires Unity Tournament. Her reluctance to speak earned her the moniker "The Silent" among her peers. This silence stemmed from a deeply suppressed subconscious desire to visualize and create cleanly sliced cross-sections of objects and people—a compulsion she deemed sinister yet struggled to control when tempted. Following a duel where she killed another Integrity Knight using her Divine Object-class rapier, the Black Lily Sword, personally crafted by Supreme Priest Quinella from a spatial energy-engorged black lily, she requested and entered long-term hibernation. She remained dormant until awakened after the deaths of Quinella and Chief Elder Chudelkin.
Physically, Sheyta appeared as a tall, slender woman with an apparent age of twenty. Her refined, emotionless face featured almond-shaped eyes with single-edged eyelids and lips devoid of rouge. Neat, dark-gray hair, parted at the middle of her pale brow, was secured in a tight ponytail. Unusually for an Integrity Knight, she wore plain, thin matte-gray armor and carried the paper-thin Black Lily Sword on her left waist.
During the War of the Underworld, Sheyta commanded the right flank of the Human Guardian Army's Second Unit at the Great Eastern Gate. She later joined the decoy unit venturing into the Dark Territory. There, she dueled Iskahn, the Tenth Champion and leader of the Pugilists Guild. Their stalemate fostered mutual respect. When Iskahn's forces faced annihilation by American VRMMO players under Emperor Vecta, Sheyta fought alongside him after he exploited command loopholes to ally with the Human Empire's decoy unit.
A key moment occurred when Sheyta realized her deepest desire: to find "someone she did not wish to cut." This emotional revelation shattered the Black Lily Sword, leaving her unarmed. Preparing to face death with Iskahn, they were rescued by Suguha Kirigaya. Surviving the war, Sheyta wedded Iskahn and they had a daughter named Lisetta. She became the chief ambassador in Obsidia and served as a guest instructor at the Dark Knights' dojo, teaching combat skills without wielding any weapon—earning the epithet "Sheyta the Unarmed." Her dragon, Yoiyobi, remained her companion, and she resided in Obsidia Castle.
In the alternate Alicization timeline known as 32/33, Sheyta served as an instructor for apprentice Integrity Knights Eugeo Synthesis Thirty-Two and Kirito Synthesis Thirty-Three. Her legacy endured through her ambassadorial role, instructional duties, and familial bonds, marking a transformation from a weapon of the church to a guardian of peace.
