Hyōga stands as a towering, muscular figure with sharp white hair and piercing dark purple eyes frequently narrowed in scrutiny. Once hiding de-petrification scars beneath a black mask, his healed features now accompany a wardrobe blending function and flair: a sweeping black cloak, a warrior’s skirt, and sturdy knee-high boots.
Revived by Tsukasa Shishio to bolster the Empire of Might, Hyōga emerged as a master tactician and lethal fighter. His veneer of loyalty masked a ruthless social Darwinist philosophy, demanding a world purged of the "weak." Subordinates were tools to discard, as shown when he coldly sacrificed Tsukasa’s forces to assess threats. Yet he acknowledged skill, granting unwavering trust to the capable Homura Momiji and begrudging admiration for Senku Ishigami’s scientific brilliance.
Hyōga’s ambition drove him to betray Tsukasa, striking when the latter’s emotional guard faltered after Mirai’s revival. This calculated move exposed his manipulative core and desire to impose his survival-of-the-fittest vision. Defeated by Senku’s strategy and Tsukasa’s raw power, he was imprisoned—a temporary setback.
Later, Senku briefly revived Hyōga to combat Moz of the Petrification Kingdom. Assessing alliances through a lens of utility, Hyōga aligned with the Kingdom of Science upon deeming Moz’s dedication to strength hollow. Wielding a kudayari spear upgraded by Senku’s tech, he turned the tide against Moz, signaling his shift from foe to self-serving collaborator.
Post-third revival, Hyōga contributed to the Kingdom of Science’s American endeavors, drilling allies in combat. His cooperation hinged on reviving Homura and Moz—transactions underscoring his deal-making pragmatism. Interactions with Tsukasa stayed frostily respectful, each recognizing the other’s lethal proficiency.
Though Hyōga’s extremism mellowed—accepting statues over slaughter—he upheld meritocracy, favoring efficiency and skill. His battlefield ingenuity against foes like the Petrification Kingdom and Stanley Snyder’s squad cemented his role as a morally flexible but indispensable strategist, ever guided by the cold calculus of survival.
