Description
Ruijerd Superdia is a member of the demonic Superd race, marked by emerald green hair, pale skin, and a red gemstone Third Eye on his forehead. Standing 190 cm tall with a prominent facial scar, he initially wore tribal vestments before adopting a shaved head and headband to conceal his identity during travels. Centuries prior to the main events, he led the Superd warriors under Laplace. During the Laplace War, cursed Devil's Spears induced a berserk state, causing Ruijerd to fatally wound his son Luiweld; Luiweld's destruction of the spear freed Ruijerd from the curse, halting his planned suicide and fueling his vengeance. He later intervened decisively in the battle between Laplace and the Three Heroes, contributing to the Demon God's defeat.

Following this, Ruijerd dedicated centuries to restoring the Superd's tarnished reputation. His methods involved protecting children and eliminating threats to them, yet this amplified fear of the Superd across the Demon Continent, earning him the feared moniker "Dead End." After the Fittoa Region teleportation incident, he discovered stranded Rudeus Greyrat and Eris Boreas Greyrat. He formed the "Dead End" adventuring party with them, agreeing to escort them to the Central Continent in exchange for Rudeus's aid in rehabilitating the Superd image. Their three-year journey showcased Ruijerd's strict warrior code prioritizing child protection and comrade loyalty, sometimes causing moral conflicts with Rudeus. Mutual respect deepened after Rudeus demonstrated resolve to protect Eris. Ruijerd also trained Eris in combat, emphasizing practical experience and harnessing her fighting spirit.

After parting ways, Ruijerd continued searching for surviving Superd. He later encountered Rudeus's sister Norn in Millishion, rescuing her from harassers. Reflecting on his own failures as a parent, he encouraged her to overcome weaknesses. Paul Greyrat subsequently entrusted Ruijerd with escorting Norn and Aisha to Rudeus in Sharia. Upon delivering them, Ruijerd expressed disappointment over Rudeus and Eris's separation and advised reconciliation before departing to resume his search. Approximately seven years later, Ruijerd was found in the Forest of No Return within the Biheiril Kingdom, having located a surviving Superd village. Reuniting with Rudeus, he revealed the tribe suffered from a plague temporarily suppressed by the Abyssal King Vita. Ruijerd confessed he was possessed by Vita, evidenced by his Third Eye turning blue with ominous markings, and disclosed the village's illness was Drain Syndrome, not cured as he had led the elders to believe.

Ruijerd's abilities stem from over 500 years of combat experience, enhanced by Superd physiology granting strength, durability, and lifespan. His Third Eye functions as a mana-sensing radar. His primary weapon is a trident-like spear formed from his own calcified tail, a Superd trait; it hardens and sharpens with use, becoming exceptionally durable over centuries. Ruijerd wields it with mastery of advanced Sōjutsu techniques, complemented by exceptional stealth and tactical acumen proven by surviving a siege by 1,000 soldiers while wounded. Key relationships include his mentorship of Eris and a profound bond with Rudeus, whom he views as instrumental to restoring the Superd's honor. He carries Roxy Migurdia's Migurd necklace, gifted by Rudeus as a token of trust. When Rudeus later requested his aid against Laplace, Ruijerd refused due to Vita's possession and the plague crisis. After Cliff Grimoire identified the illness as Drain Syndrome and facilitated treatment, Ruijerd remained with his tribe to support their recovery.
