When Arusu releases captive fairies, Sheila and Eva are punished by the Grand Master with the Curse of Eternal Youth for failing to control Arusu. This curse halts their physical aging and drives Sheila's primary goal for much of the series: recapturing all 100 fairy species to lift the curse, motivated significantly by concern for Eva's well-being.
