Description
Luka Mizuma served as a detective with the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. Nine years before the main events, he was recognized for his bravery and dedication to justice. His defining moment came during a terrorist attack at an airport orchestrated by Warlock. Mizuma intervened to save a young hostage, Seiji Nanatsuki, who had volunteered himself to spare a girl targeted for a ritual. This act forced a direct confrontation with Warlock.

Exploiting Mizuma's protective instincts, Warlock threatened his brother, Kujaku Nijo. To ensure his brother's safety, Mizuma submitted to capture and underwent brainwashing. Under Warlock's control, he became a cold, efficient operative known only as "Mysterious Man," serving as a sniper and enforcer for the terrorist group Nine. In this role, he executed missions including the killing of law enforcement personnel, such as the driver during an operation termed "The Threefold Trap."

Throughout his time as Warlock's agent, Mizuma retained no apparent memory of his past. He operated with detachment, showing no hesitation in lethal tasks. His actions as an unwilling member of Nine contributed to multiple terrorist attacks across Tokyo, including bombings and hostage situations designed to further Warlock's goal of dragon supremacy.

Mizuma's redemption began during Warlock's trial. After Warlock revealed his draconic nature and attacked the courtroom, Mizuma received orders to kill Nanatsuki. The intervention of Nanatsuki and Shiori Ichinose disrupted this command. Later, during the final confrontation atop police headquarters, Mizuma broke free from Warlock's control. He openly defied his former master, declaring his regained autonomy, and used his sniper skills to damage Warlock's dragon form. This act critically weakened Warlock by undermining the faith of his followers.

Following Warlock's defeat and arrest, Mizuma chose not to rejoin Special 7. He departed Japan under a new identity, arranged through an informant connected to Nijo. His new name incorporated the number "seven," symbolizing a connection to the unit and a commitment to pursue justice independently. He left to atone for his actions while brainwashed and to seek his own path toward justice.

Mizuma possesses dark brown hair and brown eyes. His surname, Mizuma, incorporates the Japanese character for "three" (三), while his given name, Luka, derives from the Latin word for "light."
