Description
Naomi Katagaki, an introverted Kyoto Municipal Horikawa Senior High School student, finds solace in books and tentative connections with peers like Ichigyou Ruri, a quiet classmate mirroring his hesitance. His shyness, rooted in fear of rejection, slowly gives way to cautious social steps—joining the Student Library Committee, exchanging contacts with Ruri—despite her initial reserve.

A transformative encounter with his future self, Sensei from 2037, thrusts Naomi into a race to alter fate: averting Ruri’s death by lightning strike at a fireworks festival. This mission hinges on ALLTALE, a quantum simulation preserving Kyoto’s history, where present reality unravels as code. Empowered by "God Design"—an ability to manifest imagined objects—Naomi defies the simulation’s limits under Sensei’s guidance.

Naomi’s bond with Ruri shifts from distant admiration to determined partnership, their guarded walls revealing shared fragility. Torn between doubt and resolve, he grapples with the ethics of rewriting simulated data to save a Ruri whose existence blurs the line between digital and real.

ALLTALE’s Homeostatic System retaliates with fox-masked enforcers, pushing Naomi to hone God Design into a weapon. Reluctance hardens into resolve as battles escalate, culminating in Sensei’s sacrificial erasure to secure Naomi’s survival and Ruri’s safety—a catalyst for Naomi’s newfound confidence.

The spin-off *Another World* delves into Sensei’s scarred timeline: repeated ALLTALE breaches after Ruri’s coma in original reality leave him injured, reliant on mobility aids. Layers of simulated worlds—2027 and 2037—intersect in a Moon-based civilization where a comatose Sensei awakens to an older Ruri, hinting at cyclical destinies.

Naomi’s fair complexion, brown hair, and context-driven attire—school uniforms, casual wear, combat gear—mirror his evolution from timid reader to strategic hero, courage igniting in choices that ripple across realities.
